Kill her......You know you want to.....Revenge my banishment......Do it.....
Letting out a yelp of surprise Athena dropped the book she was holding that held chores that needed to be done; her body began to shake violently and she leaned against the wall of the building. She closed her red eyes and let her white hair fall over her face as she struggled to steady her now quick breathing and her quick beating heart. She opened her eyes and looked at her hands. Some of her squad members looked at her worried. One of them stopped what he was doing and approached her.
"Athena, are you alright?" he asked his Lieutenant. Athena simply waved her hand at him, taking a shaky breath. "I'm alright... get back to work, we have lots of things to do today...." she murmured softly, her voice almost fading on her. The squad mate nodded, a bit unsure, but he went back to work.
Soon a male angelic voice entered the girl's head. "Athena, you need to relax and meditate; perhaps that will help you gain control of the connection and block it...." Soon a demonic female voice followed it in a sing-song, dark tone. "Block it! HA! Oh pathetic Tenshi, why would she want to block the wonderful connection? Athena can know every thing her twin is doing, don't you know? She could use it to help her fellow shinigami; she can predict every single move she is about to make." By now Athena's body began to shake even more and she slipped into an empty room near the exit of the barracks.
"I'm tired of your childlike name calling Akuma! Why don't you just be quiet and leave Athena alone? She has to close the connection, because Selena can do the same. I will not let Selena cause havoc even more!" Tenshi said. Akuma simply laughed, "But that's what makes things fun! Havoc and choas and mayhem! Why do you hate it so Tenshi?"
Athena was about to lose it. Her hands shaking she took the red sword on her waist and growled at it shakily. "Shut it Akuma." "Why? I'm having fuuun. You should have some fun to like your sister is, Athena~" Athena threw Akuma across the room, her voice now screaming. "I TOLD YOU TO SHUT IT!"
"Athena! Calm down! Do not strain your self!" Athena grabbed Tenshi as he cried out for her to calm down. "You shut it to, Tenshi! I'm sick and tired of hearing three voices in my head! I can't think, I can't work, I can't relax!"

Fate walked along the pathway towards the Squad Nine barracks, it had been quite a while from when she had last visited the barracks at all let alone the Lieutenant, still better than not going at all she thought. Fate was still even after all this time being pestered to find herself a Lieutenant for her own Squad....but no one seemed up to the task...at all. Fate let out a half-hearted sigh as she rounded the corner towards the entrance of the barracks. Fate then felt a spark in her right hand, knowing Bardiche was trying to reassure her, Fate let out a small smile from her lips as she continued her rather slow pace towards the barracks, it wasn't like she was in a hurry or anything.
As Fate approached the barracks entrance two shinigami bowed low before her, then quickly letting her pass towards the inside. After all Fate had paperwork to drop off and no one else would do it for her. After droping the paperwork off then heard a shout...not many most likely would hear it but Fate did and from the reaitsu she could only assume it was the voice of the Lieutenant of the Ninth Squad - Athena - Fate raised an eyebrow then walking out of the room she was in and towards the sound and reaitsu.
Walking almost now in front of the room, Fate now knew for certain that it was Athena with a small sigh escaping her lips, Fate knocked on the door softly then speaking. "Athena, it's Fate from Squad 5 may I come in?" Fate asked in a gentle tone, not wanting to worry the Lieutenant any further.

Athena had her hands to her head again; she was begning to get a headach, but it was apart of every day of her life. Who wouldn't get a headache from hearing three voices? Specially an annoying Zanpakutou whose name meant demon? Then there was her sister. She swear the two was almost the same person. Shaking her head her head looked up towards the door as there was a soft knock. She instantly recognized the voice. Fate. The kind captain of squad five. The Lightning Goddess as some called her. She gave small smile then shook her head again. She glared at Akuma who was laying on the ground. Putting Tenshi on her waist again she grabbed Akuma and put her next to Tenshi. She mumbled to the two irritated. "You two better behave...."
Walking to the door she opened it. Bowing to the captain she straightened her self up. "Of course, Captain Harlaown" she said.
Don't waste your time....You should be a captain of a squad, not her.... Selena's voice said coldly to Athena. Athena hid a flinch as she step aside to let Fate in.

Fate smiled as she entered the room, Athena kindly stepping aside to allow her entrance into the room, Fate turned to face Athena and spoke. "There's no need to be so formal Athena, just Fate will do." Fate smiled as she gestured for them to take a seat so Fate did. Fate pondered for a moment...Athena looked troubled she was trying to hide it, but it wasn't really looking she could tell just by looking at Athena's expression, it was sad with a hint of anger.
Fate quickly glanced towards Athena's two zanpakuto's other the far end of the room then towards her, speaking softly. "I came here for two reasons, one more formal than the other." Fate gave a soft smile towards the young girl..yes she would be very good for the postion and if not Fate would still help her in any way possible. "Besides sensing your reaitsu a few minutes ago, I also heard you shout I would assume it to be towards you zanpakuto's correct? I would like to hope that everything is alright?" Fate asked her tone still very gentle but slightly concered for the girl, Fate could not help to smile soon after...this girl reminded herself so much of that young friend.....and much of herself when she was young. Discarding the thought for now Fate moved on and then continued speaking. "The other reason I came to see you, is a request or rather I should say an offer towards you." Fate took in a small breath then spoke once more. "I would like to offer you the Lieutenant postion within the Fifth Squad and work along side me. Now before you say anything I do not expect an answer anytime soon, take your time and think about this carefully like I have done before asking you. The choice is fully up to you, and if you wish to stay in the Ninth Squad that is fine, what I will say is the offer is there." Fate very much hoped this statement would not shock Athena too much, she also hoped that she had thought long enough about this...but still it was all in this young girl's - Athena's - hands now.

As Fate sat, Athena sat across from her. She listened quietly to what she had to say. She flinched a little as she pointed out she heard the shout and asked if every thing was alright. Everything wasn't alright, she almost wanted to tell the captain, but couldn't, she just couldn't. This was her problem, and she had to deal with it. She had to...alone..... No matter what Tenshi told her,s he had to deal with this on her own... No one else could shut the communication part of her connection with her banished sister, only she could....
"Just two opposites bickering....Everything is fine other than that...." Athena lied, she tried not to flinch. She didn't want to lie to Fate, but she didn't want to worry her to much. She heard the concern in her voice and it was driving her insane. Why did she lie?
Why did you lie, sister? You sound a bit like me, with the lying part i mean Selena's laughter rang.
She blinked in surprise as Fate explained her other reason of being here. She looked down at the ground, her red eyes wide. It was a bit shocking, but Athena wasn't completely surprised; well, not as surprised as she the first time she asked. Looking back up at Fate she found her voice again underneath her small shock. "Of course I'll think about it, Fate..." She said with a kind smile.
She then flinched again as Selena's voice once again entered her head. Pathetic. At this rate you will never become captain... you will never gain more power... you will never become stronger....[/color] Athena flinched and looked down.
"Actually, Fate, I lied, and I'm sorry....n-nothing is okay....e-everything is wrong....." She said in a soft, sad voice. She will not become like her sister. She will not....

Fate saw the young girl flinch once more...she looked so weak Fate never liked seeing other's hurt even more so with what had happend in her past...but this wasn't the time to be thinking about that. When Fate heard Athena speak she could see and almost feel the tension in the young girl's voice...Fate frowned slightly she hated anyone hurt let one's younger than herself.
She nodded towards Athena and gave a soft smile then spoke. "I see..." that was the only reply Fate gave Athena she could hear the girl tremble a little...was she lying to her? Fate sighed softly to herself. Then seeing the girl's expression at her offer caught Fate off guard slightly but she remained in the same place as before, hearing her speak again Fate nodded and spoke once more. "Thank you Athena." Fate smiled back at the girl hoping to reassure her like that girl had done so long ago....when Fate was crying, Fate put it to the back of her mind and locked it away for now...this wasn't the time to be concered for herself.
Seeing Athena flinch again made Fate worry even more....and then seeing Athena and hearing her speak like she was going to cry Fate knew what to do. Getting up Fate walked over to the young girl, sitting next to her Fate put an arm around the girl patting her head softly Fate spoke. "Shh, calm down Athena. Take a deep breath, I'm not going to hurt you just calm down first hm?" Fate spoke in a soothing tone, having an idea to calm the girl down Fate began to sing softly it had always worked with her when she was younger so Fate hoped it would with Athena too.

Athena closed her eyes and listened softly. The soft angelic voice of Tenshi joined in to the singing, and to Athena it was even more sweet and calming. Her breathing slowed to a more relaxed state and her body relaxed. She was actually relaxed....the first time she had been in a long while. With all the work that kept piling up, Athena had little time to her self to actually relax now a days.
"Thank you...Fate...." Athena murmured. She blinked. She stared at he hand suddenly and shook her head. A small cut appeared on her right hand and then her arm. She pulled away from Fate her eyes going wide. Her body began to shake.

Fate smiled as she continued singing she used to love to sing when she was little, she rarely got the time to do so anymore but she till enjoyed it all the same...much like her old friend had...Nanoha. Fate let out a sigh as she finished singing towards Athena.
Hearing her speak Fate nodded softly towards her then spoke. "Your welcome Athena." Fate still spoke very gently towards her not wanting for it to happen again, she was worried enough as it is. Seeing Athena's eye's widen at the cuts that were quickly spreading up her body concerned Fate and Fate's worry grew with each second as she saw Athena start to shake. "Athena..? Athena!" Fate was normally very very good at maintaining her self control...but when she saw one's younger than her hurt, she seemed to loose a bit of that control she normally has. Fate quickly tapped into Squad 4 and spoke. "This is Squad 5 Captain Fate T. Harlaown I want a team of Squad Four medics down at the Squad Nine barracks now!" Fate's tone was not soft or gentle now...it was fully of worry....this type of shaking had happend to her once before....when she fought Nanoha....the..time...when Fate went mad destroying everything in her path. Fate prayed to Kami that this would not end up the same as back then.

Shaking she quietly cursed underneath her bed before looking at Fate. "Please don't call squad four..." she said, her voice half begging, but she was already to late. Great, she had to explain what was going on, and this was not going to make the girl happy. She hated explaining her connection to her twin sister. She HATED it.... Not to mentioned, she worried almost every single day of some one finding out. She hadn't told any one... what would they do...? Would they hide away, would they derank her? Would they prevent her from knowing any action they were going to take to deal with any meager current activity? She shook her head and looked around for cloth or any thing she could use to wrap around the cuts. Why did her sister have to choose their bodies to take out her anger? And now of all places?
Finding some stored away sheets she ripped them and wrapped them around her arms and hands, where the cuts are. She turned and looked at Fate, her face becoming serious. "Please, Captain, what ever you do, do not tell them the cuts just appeared, there is one thing i do not wish for every one to know......" she glanced at the door and walked over and made sure it was completely closed. She turned and faced Fate. "I'll explain everything, but you have to promise me you wont tell them...."

Fate watched Athena as she covered her arms in what cloth she could from a cubboard listening to Athena speaking towards her Fate thought for a moment, then nodded she needed to know what this was all about she also knew that, she would not get answers by saying no. With that thought Fate nodded towards Athena,"Alright Athena, I promise." Fate spoke in a soft but calm voice. Fate hated getting too worried or lying but she didn't have much of a choice.
Soon after this Fate heard a knocking and a small Squad Four team entered the room quickly, they quickly gathered around Athena. Not needing to ask how she got the injury after all the request was from a Captain no less. After a little while longer as they finished healing a memeber appraoched the Captain and asked. "Was there anything else, Captain Harlaown?" Fate gives a soft smile shaking her head and ushering the memebers out of the room. "No there was nothing else, thank you for coming so quickly." They nodded then leaving with a bow towards Fate, she then closed the door and sighed turning towards Athena, she walked over sitting down near her. "Now...I suggest you start from the beggining and don't worry you have my word that this is between you and myself." Fate gave a kind smile towards Athena, nodding softly towards her.

Athena tenses slightly when she was being healed, but soon the squad four members left and Fate closed the door behind them. Sitting down Athena closed her yes putting her head in her hands. She shad to get her thoughts in order. How should she tell Fate...? She knew how....But....it wasn't going to be easy honestly..... Shaking her head she looked up at the Captain. Murmuring, "You heard of the former lieutenant of squad six, right? The one who got banished for attacking Rin?" Not many people were out of the loop, so it was a silly question.
Looking down now however, Athena rubbed her arm. 'Well..if you remember her, as you can guess we look very much alike....We...we are twins and...ever since birth we had this sort of connection with each other...we called it the Twin's Bond...." she looked at the arm where the scratches had appeared. "If one twin gets hurt, the other gets hurt as well.....we have a mental connection too...." she rubbed her head. "Its not just those two-" gesturing to Tenshi and Akuma across the room sheathed. "-that i hear in my head talking......" She looked at fate to see if she was following.

Fate listened carefully...the former Squad Six Lt? Everyone had heard of it....well...most anyways and if not the only ones who don't know are those in the lower ranks in the different Squads but even that wasn't many. Fate nodded and spoke. "Yes I have heard of it it was quite some time ago if I remeber rightly." Fate continued to listen carefully not moving to much to show her foucs, Fate didn't want Athena to think that she could not trust her.
Fate saw Athena look down and she gave a soft sigh outwards from her mouth, she hated seeing people upset, but Fate still listened nonetheless. Hearing this Fate started to wander in her mind, why had she not told someone sooner...but Fate thought best not to question her too much...I mean...the poor girl was still in shock. Glacing over towards Athena's two zanpakuto Fate then focused speaking towards her zanpakuto. "Bardiche can you sense anything from them?" I hear a soft ringing noise then a voice. "No, nothing." I sigh inwardly then nodding towards Athena I speak. "Alright, I assume this other voice is your sister correct? I would also like to thank you for telling me this, I'm sure it must be very hard, and no I will not say I know how you feel beacuse I will not lie to you." I nod towards Athena once more smiling softly.

Giving a weak smile, she nodded back. "I only asked you don't tell any one else.....Rin already knows and she does not trust me fully, however she does not speak out against me, not yet. I'm afraid the others will.....speak out against ,e......" she rubbed her arm and shook her head. She stood straightening uo. " and I am sorry you saw the way I have actd, it's not often I act this way." she gave a sad smile. "is there anything I can get you?"

Listening to Athena speak Fate nodded softly then speaking in a gentle manner. "Athena did you forget my promise already? If you remeber I promised you I would not tell anyone else, so don't worry." Fate smiled at the girl she did not want to worry her anymore. Fate placed her hands on her lap then standing up as Athena did speaking. "It's alright, but I did figure as much when I saw you like this." Hearing the girl's question Fate shook her head softly then speaking once more. "Tell me Athena would you like to hear a lullaby?" Fate asked she knew this might not help the girl...but still she hoped it would if she would allow Fate to sing it.....it had always calmed her thoughts as a child....and it still did.....to this day.

Athena sat down again, her hands folded on her lap. She was shaky, restless. She had work she needed to do, but she was not yet in the condition to do work. Did fate see that in her? Hopefully not, it would be bad enough those in squad Nine would see that. She blinked in surprise as Fate asked if she would like to hear a lullaby. Tilting her head, her curiosity catching on she blinked her red eyes before nodding. "Please?" Perhaps this would help her calm down.
