Please keep it clean

I can't help but notice that people have been using very obscene language in RP posts. I may be late at saying something about this, but alas, I can't withhold my objections any longer. I don't remember seeing or hearing any cursing in Bleach other than a "hell" here or a "bastard" there, and it has come to my attention (and probably the attention of others) that words such as "f***" have been used in RP threads. I have a very big problem with this, and although I say words like this from time to time, I try to censure myself. I only ask that we stay true to the spirit of Bleach. I'm not saying we should mirror everything from the show, seeing as how we are non-canon, but I just think we should keep things somewhat true to the way Tite Kubo meant it to be.

If anyone objects to this as far as needing proof or examples of the issue at hand, please let me know and I will acquire the needed material. Thank you for your time, and I hope everyone will understand where I'm coming from and support me in my request of getting rid of unnecessary profane language :]

You make quite a good point Judge, as I have also noticed it. I myself had said f*** on occasion, but not to the point of cursing like a sailor if you will. It does need to die down, I'm also sure I put it in the rules the cursing is allowed, but to keep it at a minimum, so if we can dial it down, it would be appreciated. Thanks Judge for posting this.

Edit: Okay, so as I stated above I have done it once or twice, but it was brought to my attention I have yet to curse in RP. Although I thought I had, so forgive me for saying I have.

To be honest, the manga is rife with swearing. The whole seven word salute, if you would.

However, I will respect your request and limit my swearing further. Sometimes, I just end up using swearing for expression on characters, but I suppose that there are people who have aversions to it, and I will respect it.

I don't really mind the cursing, but what I do mind is how often it is used. I realize that there is a lot of cursing in the manga, however I don't believe people need to curse to have fun. I allow it, just don't go over board with it.

I was not aware that the manga had cursing such as that in it, due to me not reading the manga (though i may start soon). I thank you for respecting my request, and I apologize for not knowing how the manga was as far as cursing. I think it should still be able to be used in RP, but as Stele said, not to go overboard with it (as seen in any Knuckles post ever).
