Personality: Soujirou is typically a distant person, especially around strangers. However, he is always kind and cares for his brother. He would easily risk his life for his brother. He has a very serious nature, and often takes jokes or sarcasm as seriousness; which often causes misunderstandings. He gets irritated easily, but is good at not showing it until he is alone or with his brother. Like his brother, he is proud of the fact that he is a twin. Soujirou often tries to act kind to others, but it usually backfires because of his distant and outwardly cold personality.
History: Soujirou and Kyuuya were born in Kagamino City. Their parents were well-off, but not rich, so they lived in a rather nice house in Kagamino. They went to school in the city until the summer before they entered highschool. During that summer their mother had caught an illness, and their father was laid off. Being unable to keep up with their bills, the family moved to the nearby Karakura Town, living in a small apartment. Later that year, the twins' mother died due to the illness. Before she died, however, she gave each of the twins a necklace, with the Gemini constillation on it as a present for entering highschool.
Recently, the twins had discovered that their cherished necklaces are more than just a keepsake. Not long before the current time, the twins were walking back from staying late after school, when they ran into a Hollow. Thinking they were going to die, the brothers held their necklaces in their hands, before they were enveloped in a light, and had weapons in their hands. After realizing what happened, they were able to defend themselves against the hollow, until it ran away. The two brothers still don't know exactly what had happened, but they've agreed to each other that it was just a shared dream.
Ability:
- Gemini's Blessing: An ability that transforms the Gemini Necklace he wears into a sword. It also transforms Soujirou's clothing into an all black set of clothing. (Image Here.)
- Twin Telepathy: Once Gemini's Blessing is activated, Soujirou is able to speak with his twin brother, regardless of how far apart they are. Also, if the twins are within eyeshot of each other, they are able to switch places with a flash of light.
- Gemini Sword: When activated, Gemini's Blessing causes a total of four blades to form on Soujirou's person. Two wakizashi-sized blades are formed sheathed across Soujirou's back in an 'X' form, while two tanto-sized blades are formed on the back of his waist. The blades are capable of cutting through any material aside from metal and human or spiritual bodies. If the blade comes in contact with metal, the effect will be the same as with any normal blade. However, if the blade were to go through 'flesh', the blade will simply phase through the target, only cutting non-organic things. This is where the sword's true power comes in. Despite being unable to physically injure the body, the Gemini Swords, when cutting through flesh, still cause the opponent to feel pain. However, the pain they feel from a single strike is ten-fold of that from a normal blade. On the blades is an etching of the Gemini constellaiton, and at the base of the blade is a diamond-shaped gem.
When activated, Gemini's Blessing also increases his speed to the level of Captain-ranked Shinigami.- Heavenly Flame: With this technique, the gem on Soujirou's swords glows blue, and covers the blades with a blue fire, similar to the one that covers his eye. In this mode, the effect of the blades increases ten-fold, allowing him to cause pain up to 100 times what could normally be felt. His speed also increases exponentially as well. Soujirou is currently only capable of keeping this mode for about one minute.
- Gemini Overdrive: When using this technique Soujirou's swords disappear and form into a light, bladed armor around his body. (Image) The armor has the same phasing properties as the blades, but the pain increase is equal to that of his Heavenly Flame mode. His speed increases to be well over a captain's. In this mode, his armor is able to sprout blades from any part of it, allowing him greater control and precision when fighting. However, since the armor has the phasing properties of his normal weapon, it does nothing to protect him from hand-to-hand attacks. Any blade created from the armor has a maximum length of 2 feet, though Soujirou would typically keep the length around 6 inches unless it needed to be longer. He can currently only keep this form for about 30 seconds.
