Personality: Shizuka is a very laid-back, jovial woman. Her carefree conduct makes her look like somewhat of a klutz, or perhaps even moronic, she loves to crack jokes, and is generally a friendly person all around, but this belies a natural cunning, which she utilizes in situations such as when she is inventing new products or the supremely rare instances when she is drawn into battle. She also has a profound affinity toward wearing scarves and winter coats, even in the summer. When it comes to important events Shizuka’s personality compels her to act more as a catalyst towards things, providing a helping hand to others, while she monitors the situations in the shadows. This is a trait that Shizuka shares with her long-time mentor. Shizuka is very intelligent, having been taught everything she knows by the best of the best. Everyone who knew her mentor says that she is truly his successor, as the two have nearly the exact same personality. In battle, she uses mostly kido attacks to win the day, with mild amounts of swordplay as well for spacing purposes or if she is drawn into an instance where she cannot cast spells in safety. Like her master, she prefers to use misdirection and spontaneous behavior to fight. With unpredictable swordplay, interesting combinations of kido attacks, and at times her inventions, Shizuka can be a very frustrating opponent to come up against.
History:Shizuka, at one point back in the day was a regular shinigami researcher who worked in the Squad 12 labs. She lived a fairly uneventful life, and was a thoroughly uninteresting individual, until one day when Captain Mayuri demanded a test subject for his experiment to make Shinigami absolutely undetectable to Hollow by altering their reiatsu pattern similar to the Hollow themselves. The experiment was almost a success, but Mayuri’s overzealousness overpowered the machine, and caused Shizuka an incurable state of mind-wipe. This caused Shizuka to turn into somewhat of a vegetable for the next week, she was unable to comprehend anything, and even had a hard time feeding herself. In order to hide his failures, and not get arrested by other captains for such a heinous act against humanity, Mayuri stuffed Shizuka into a gigai and cast her into the human world. Mayuri was unpunished for this deed, as Shizuka had been a thoroughly unnoticed shinigami in the first place, and her presence wasn’t missed. When she was thrown into the human world, she was unable to comprehend what happened, so she curled up into fetal position and sat there for a few hours, where she was discovered by Kisuke Urahara. For the next five hundred years of her life, she would live in Urahara’s shop, and was trained by him personally. Having had her mind completely erased, Urahara’s influence shaped her personality to be very similar to his own. The life working at his store, learning the process of inventing things, practicing kido and swordplay, even managing to attain Bankai via a training method that Urahara had invented though she prefers to avoid using bankai as much as possible, this training allowed for Shizuka to become a very well-rounded fighter. Her proficiency still remained in Kido however, and as a result, kido is what she prefers to use if ever drawn into a conflict that would take more effort than just swinging her blade around. The life went well, until one day Urahara and his other employees suddenly disappeared, in their place was a note from her mentor, explaining that it was time for him to move on, as he had taught her everything he knew; along with the letter was the deed to the store. Dumbfounded at this revelation, she didn’t notice the spiritual pressure that crept up behind her. The next thing she knew, she was on the floor, covered in blood, with a mask on her face. It is now today.

Abilities:
Bloodmagus: When Chihime slices into enemies, the tassel hanging from the handle of the blade begins to become soaked in blood. The more blood absorbed, the more powerful the blade becomes to the point where if the tassel were to be ever completely drenched in blood, Shizuka could split enormous fissures into the earth with a flick of her wrist.
Blood Raid: Aside from becoming a more powerful weapon in proportion to the amount of blood absorbed, Chihime uses all the blood accumulated to fire an energy blast. The power of the energy blast is proportional to the amount of blood on the blade.
Blood sphere: Using some of the absorbed blood, Shizuka can create a sphere that is two meters in diameter around her. The sphere is capable of blocking attacks, and if struck, or shot at, repels anything that hits it. The sphere appears instantly, and can be reformed indefinitely as long as Shizuka has a speck of blood on her tassel. The sphere is the only attack that does not grow more powerful depending on the amount of blood absorbed, it is always as strong as it is.

Abilities:
Perfect Bloodmagus: Essentially all her abilities in Shikai mode are able to be used, but are all more powerful and take less accumulated blood to use. Now instead of being collected in a tassel, the blood accumulated along the length of the blade is what fuels the ability. The initial ability of becoming more powerful whenever blood is absorbed is amplified, to where Shizuka's speed and reaction time is also amplified due to blood absorbed.
Bloodstorm Revolution: This ability drains blood from Shizuka’s body along with blood that is accumulated across the length of her blade to fuel a powerful technique that essentially fires large and devastating waves of energy in every direction while Shizuka spins around with the blade in hand. The waves are so powerful, anything struck by them is almost guaranteed to be destroyed unless it is capable of taking immense damage to begin with. Using this ability for too long can kill Shizuka, due to losing too much blood. She has never used this ability, and does not plan on using it.

Effect: Creates a torrent of blue spiritual energy from the palm of the user’s hand and fires it at a target. Is either a direct blast, or a large wave of energy depending on the amount of power placed into the spell.

Effect: Generates around ten pink energy points and fires them all at the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating.[1]

Description: Where Shizuka is laid back and carefree, Akuzihs is serious and always to the point. The hollow is essentially a grayscale pallet-swap of Shizuka.
