Description:
Personality: Jin-Ho is very intelligent and thinks outside of the box on most any problem. He is a very good problem solver and strategist, however, his mind works in ways not many others' do and he often solves his problems in the most round-about ways; figuring a simpler way much later im time. Along with his high intelligence and problem-solving skills, however, is arrogance. He assumes himself to be the smartest in all worlds, and often lashes out at those who have no faith in his abilities with a high and mighty attitude. In times when he isn't researching or creating tools, however, he is often kind to others, unless they treat him as less than equals. In battle he is cunning and intelligent, and often uses his inventions when fighting rather than resorting to using his zanpakutou or kido.
History: Jin-Ho was a captain of the Gotei Thirteen since the beginning of it's creation. He headed the twelfth division alongside his lieutenant Kirio Hikifune. During his time in the Seireitei he helped to invent the first gigai, and many other inventions that allowed Soul Society to prosper. Aside from helping to invent things to help the shinigami in general, he also headed reiryoku research and Anti-Hollow Weapons, the later of which he did in secret. He created many devices to bring Hollows into Soul Society undetected as well as experiment on them and create weaponry to help fight against them. It was during one of these research experimentations that Jin-Ho was declared dead by the soul society. He was experimenting on how to utilize a hollow's reiatsu as a weapon, while using his inventions to keep the Hollows body intact after it was killed. During this experimentation, he ended up crafting a mask out of the Hollow's own mask. After turning of the device, the mask, and hollow, disappeared into reiryoku. He tried again, this time inserting some of his own reiatsu into the mask. After turning the device off, the hollow had disappeared, but not the mask. He then put on the mask to see it's effects on his body. He could feel his reiatsu becoming stronger, but at the same time, something didn't feel quite right. The Hollows went into a frenzy once the mask had been put on, and many of them broke out of their cages, attempting to attack the scientist. He was able to hold most of them off with his bankai, but he knew he would be out of reiatsu quickly, and so he froze his entire research base in ice, sealing himself and the hollows away. After a few months, the second division was sent out to search for the captain, but found nothing. The Central 46 declared Jin-Ho dead, and Kirio Hikifune took over as the captain of the twelfth division.
Zanpakutou
Name: Naengdong Wang (Frozen King)

Sealed Form: Naengdong Wang takes the appearance of a typical katana, with a solid square guard.
Shikai
Call Out Phrase: "Solidify, Naengdong Wang!"
Appearance: Upon first releasing Jin-Ho's zanpakutou doesn't change forms at all, except that the katana gains a bluish tint to it's steel.
Abilities: Naengdong Wang's main ability is "Solidification". Typically, this is used in the form of freezing the water around him to make it ice, but it can be used on any non-solid to turn it into a solid. Jin-Ho can also stop the solidification process midway when targeting gases to turn them into liquids. However, his zanpakutou doesn't allow him to freely manipulate the solidified objects, only change them into solids. (ie. he can't create ice shards from the air and send them flying to a target. He can however, freeze the air around his sword or hand and launch ice shards using his fists or sword as a kind of catapult.) The larger the size and distance of what he wishes to solidify, the more reiatsu it uses up. It's also easier to solidify H2O than anything else. The solidified objects are also stronger than what a normal version would be because Jin-Ho infuses the object with his reiatsu.
- Frost Shower: This technique works by forming shards of ice along the length of the user's sword or arm. After the ice has formed, the user swings their blade, launching the shards of ice in the direction the user swung. This can be used at a larger scale by creating the shards high in the air and causing them to rain down, however, this will hit anyone in the area.
- Frost Shield: This technique is used by creating a large block of ice to defend against attacks.
- Frostbite: This technique is used when the user makes contact with a target. The user is able to quickly cover the touched area in a layer of ice, which spreads out a few inches from the touched area into a snoflake-like pattern. This can be used to slow the opponent down by covering multiple parts of their body in ice, and can cause frostbite if left alone for awhile. The technique can also be used to temporarily seal up large wounds from bleeding out, but the danger of frostbite is still there.
- Niflheim: A technique that, often, renders Jin-Ho's opponents dead. This techique can be used when Jin-Ho places the palm of his hand on his oponent, causing ice to slowly spread over their body for about 10 seconds, then extremelly rapidly afterwards, completey encasing the traget in ice. The slow start of the technique can be bypassed if the opponent is covered in at least 5 places from the "frostbite" technique. If the target is bleeding through a wound, the the technique will act differently. Jin-Ho must place one hand on the open wound and the other on the target's body. The technique will then begin to freeze the opponent's blood and organs in the same manner as the normal technique, but the technique will cause spikes of frozen blood to erupt from the target's body. This technique can be avoided by emitting a large amount of reiatsu within the first moments of the technique, causing the spreading of the ice to stop and giving the the opponent time to escape to counter the technique. The amount of reiatsu released however, needs to be equal to or more than what Jin-Ho is emitting. Also, once the technique begins to increase in speed, an extremelly large amount of reiatsu needs to be used to stop the technique. The ice from the technique will not disappear, but will slowly melt given the time and heat.
- Enhanced Abilities: When in shikai, Jin-Ho's abilities are greatly enhanced, especially his speed.
Bankai
Call Out Phrase: "Bankai, Bitnaneun Naengdong Wang!" (Shining Frozen King)
Appearance: After releasing Bankai, Jin-Ho's katana disappears and he becomes covered in armor that looks like his zanpakutou spirit's armor.
Abilities:
- Enhanced abilities: Jin-Ho requires less reiatsu to solidify, allowing him a larger range as well. His speed and other attributes also increase significantly.
- Enhanced Frostbite: The enhanced version of Frostbite is just that it covers a larger area, and is formed at a faster rate.
- Enhanced Niflheim: An enhanced version of Niflheim that allows Jin-Ho to target multiple opponents, and without the use of his hands. The opponents must be within a ten-foot radius from Jin-Ho, and must have at least one "frostbite" on their body. By placing his palm on the ground, a line of ice connects the "frostbites" with his hand, and the process for Niflheim begins.
- Naengdong Wang-ui Jinno: (Frozen King's Wrath) Jin-Ho's "final" technique which covers the entire terrain within a 50 foot radius of Jin-Ho into a frozen tundra. From the frozen ground, hands of ice will form and grab onto anyone near them, encasing them in ice. Upon using this technique Jin-Ho and anyone on the ground or caught by the hands will be encased in ice and sealed until someone melts the ice. This does not kill whoever becomes trapped, but if the encasing is shattered, the person inside will shatter as well.

Effect: Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.

Effect: A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.
Name: HwangHwaSeom [황화섬] (Oukasen)
Number: Pado Samshipi (Hado 32)
Incantation: N/A
Effect: Ōkasen is primarily used for offense. The practitioner raises his/her Zanpakutō horizontally in front of him/her and generates a yellow orb that widens itself along the length of their sword. Once it is fully charged it fires outward as a horizontal blast, in a wide arc of yellow energy at the target. This technique can be launched from the hand instead of a Zanpakutō, albeit producing a shorter arc.

Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."
Effect: Sōkatsui is primarily used for offense. The practitioner aims the palm of his/her hand at the target then generates a torrent of blue spiritual energy and fires it at said target. The energy moves like a direct blast or a large wave of energy depending on the amount of power placed into it.
Inventions
- Reiatsu Mine: One of Jin-Ho's inventions. The mine contains reiatsu of a shinigami and their zanpakutou. (Usualy Jin-Ho's, but any shinigami can use the invention.) When an iopponent gets close to the mine, Jin-Ho can press a button to detonate it. The mine takes the form of a technique belonging to the shinigami who inserted their reiatsu. In Jin-Ho's case, the mine will freeze the air above it, trapping the opponent's legs in ice, sending shards of ice out at the opponent, or creating spikes of ice to impale the opponent. If the mine has no reiatsu inserted into it, but it is activated, it will absorb the reiatsu of the nearest being and use that as it's "explosion."
- Reiatsu Arrows: Identical to how the mines work, except in arrow form.
- Hollow-Slayer: An in-progress invention designed to absorb hollow reiatsu allowing it to match a specific hollow or arrancar's hierro, plus the cutting strength of steel to be able to cut through, essentially, any hierro.
- Cero Canon: A large weapon that looks like a bazooka. Functional, but still in progress. The canon currently works by absorbing the cero or reiatsu of a hollow or arrancar, allowing it to fire a cero beam from the canon equal in power to the hollows typical cero. If the canon abosorbs more than one cero's worth of reiatsu, it will shoot out an enhanced version of the hollow or arrancar's cero, however, it often jams or explodes after abosrbing too much energy.
- Pocket Senkaimon: An invention used to open a small temporary senkaimon within a protective barrier. Acts similar to the negacion of Gilians.
- Copy Zanpakutou: The invention that led to the reiatsu mines and arrows. This sword is capable of absorbing a set amount of reiatsu from a technique or person it cuts through, allowing it to copy that technique, or that person's zanpakutou techniques a few times before short-circuiting.
- Hollow Tracking Device: This device comes in two parts, the first of which has a pill and powder form. When the pill or powder enters the body of a Hollow, it allows the user to track that hollow and any hollow that would eat the tracked hollow. The second part of the device is the actual tracker, which looks like a compass, and points to the hollows like a sonar device.
- Teleportation Device: Used with the Hollow Tracking device, allows the user to teleport to the hollow if they ingest a certain drug, or causes the hollow to be transported to a certain point using a set of pillars.
- Reiatsu Hiding Device: A device which creates a protective barrier around a set area, causing reiatsu to seemingly disappear. The device is very large and bulky, so it typically stays within a house or facility.
- Reiatsu Cloning Device: A small device which, when attatched to someone, will hide their reiatsu by covering with another person's reiatsu.
- Spirit Pressure Generator: A large device which is capable of increasing the pressure of the reiryoku within a certain area, making the gravity seem heavier.
- Prototype Hollow Mask: A mask crafted from a hollow's mask. Using a device to keep the hollows reiatsu intact after it's death, Jin-Ho was able to produce a crude hollow mask. The mask, when worn, greatly amplifies the wearer's attributes, however it does not give them hollow-like powers, and seemingly causes hollows to be able to sense the wearer as well.
- Reiryoku Solidification Device: This device allows for a deceased being to keep it's form rather than disappear into reiryoku when they die. This device, however, is currently broken and unusable.
*Even though the descriptions of the techniques use ice, they can be used with other liquids and gases as well, so long as it can be turned into a solid form. Also, pickles.
