Preparing for the Battle Part 3 (Furiko)

The Cero Espada sat on the desert floor, recovering from his last "meeting" the holes in his shoulder from the Segunda's quills not yet fully closed yet. "Well, I suppose next will be the Trecera Espada if they keep up like they have been. The healer of the group if I remember correctly." he said to himself as he waited patiently for the next Espada to show up.

[Kusubanasan]

It's about that time, isn't it imouto-chan? Furiko says to her Fraccion as she picks up her weapon and prepares to exit the room. After stopping a bit to stare out the window at the desert, Furiko disappears from her spot and reappears outside the castle. Kaneko appears beside her soon after this, and the two walk further into the desert. Soon enough, the two come across the Cero Espada, licking a few small wounds from what must've been a fight against Vilmente, given the needles in his shoulder. She casually begins to dance a little while approaching him, sending reiatsu into the air which would close his wounds. You can't go around getting hurt so much, Boss-Kun. We need you for the battle after-all! Furiko says in a bubbly voice as she waves at her superior officer. I hope you don't mind that I brought Kaneko here with me, we don't often go anywhere without one another.

Furiko points over towards Kaneko before readdressing Cero. So, what do you need?

[kanekosan]

Kaneko was busy skipping around the room when Furiko suddenly stands up and says that it's time to go somewhere, Kaneko nods vigorously, excited to be going somewhere for awhile. When Furiko disappears via Sonido, Kaneko does her best to follow. When Kaneko appears in the desert, Furiko is already there. Okay! Let's go! Kaneko says in a delighted tone as she shoves Furiko ahead. The two begin to walk the deserts in order to get to the location they were supposed to be at. During the trip Kaneko can't help but be fascinated by various things in the desert, and her mind wandered from time to time about the animals that live in it. Eventually the two reach their destination, and to her surprise, the Cero Espada is there.

Woah! It's boss-kun! Kaneko notices that Furiko began to dance suddenly, obviously her healing technique. After Furiko addresses the Cero Espada, and apologizes for bringing Kaneko along, Kaneko races over towards the Cero Espada and attempts to tackle-hug him as Furiko asks what he needs. Arr! Whaddaya want, matey!?

[Jachimaru]

"Ah, don't worry too much about this. It's nothing a few hours rest won't heal up." the Cero Espada said, before he attempted to stand, only to be knocked back down by the Trecera Espada's fraccion. "My my, you're lively aren't you?" he said with a small laugh as he stood up and moved closer to the Espada. "I don't mind her tagging along, in fact, it's a pleasant surprise. But we should be getting down to business. I called you here for two reasons. The first, is what I need from all of the Espada. It would greatly help in the coming battle if the two of you would lend me your powers." he said in a kind tone as he put a hand on the Trecera Espada's shoulder.

"The other reason, is that I have a special role for our healer. I know I said earlier that if the battle becomes tough, then run away. I want you to be especially wary of that. If the battle is going badly, take whoever you can and retreat so that you can help them to recover faster. If you die, then there's not much we can do to retaliate if they win." he said, before taking a few steps away from the Espada.

"Now, shall we get started?" he asked as he waited for the Trecera Espada and her fraccion to make the first move.

Furiko nods in understanding of the Cero Espada's orders and takes to heart that she is to be more wary of battle than the other Espada. When he asks if they should get started, Furiko gracefully twirls backwards and shoves Kaneko in front of her. I hope you're ready for both of us~ It might be a bit difficult to keep up with our coordinated attacks if you don't keep on your toes, boss-kun! Furiko smiles at Kaneko as she pulls her weapon off her back and takes up her fighting pose. When Kaneko does so as well, Furiko begins to dance and twirl about the area such as a graceful ballerina. Her reiatsu seeping into the area and beginning its weakening effects on anyting in the area besides herself and Kaneko.

This is the technique I call danza de la miseria~ I hope you can escape it soon, since it'll make even someone like you sick to your stomach~! Furiko says in a bubbly manner as she continues her dance. She notices at this point that Kaneko has begun her offensive, so Furiko maintains her distance, and keeps her eyes on the Cero Espada as she continues to dance, making sure he doesn't pull any kind of sneak attack on her while they're fighting.

"The Cero Espada wants to fight? Wow! That sounds like fun!" Kaneko thinks to herself as she listens to the orders that her superior gives to Furiko. She watches the Espada as he takes a few steps backwards and prepares himself for an assault from the two, and subsequently prepares herself by pulling her staff out of thin air. Furiko suddenly gives Kaneko a shove that sends her reeling forward a little. Kaneko takes this as a symbol that it's time to fight, so she takes up a fighting stance as Furiko steps back and begins to unleash Danza de la Miseria. Kaneko gives the Cero Espada a warning in an upbeat tone. Big sis and I both use different sorta weapons than the other guys do, boss-kun. So if yer only used to swords, this might be a bit weird!

With that being said, Kaneko swings her staff in a circle above her head, creating six Bala that float above her. She waves the staff in another circle in front of her, which creates six more that spin around in front of her in a circle. She then holds her staff out and spins like a top, creating a staggering 12 more bala, that rotate around her in a circle. The 24 Bala shift positions, and begin to circle around her in a complete sphere, acting as a violent shield floating around her body. Get ready boss-kun! She says as she dashes forward in a charge directly at the Cero Espada. But instead of charging him like normal, Kaneko instead spins to his right and sends 4 Bala directly at his side. This is the Kusubana special! Directable Bala!

[Jachimaru]

"Impressive abilities." he said as he staggered a bit before figuring the techniques out. As the balas were sent towards him, he looked to them, charging a cero from his forehead. "Cero Nada." he said as the large cero hit all of the incoming projectiles, causing bothe techniques to vanish silently.

"It looks like I'm going to have to go straight into my resurreccion, with you sapping my strength like that." he said with a laugh as he looked to the Trecera Espada. "Natte, Quintaesencia." he said as his clear reiatsu erupted from his body and he changed forms, beginning to absorb the reiatsu emitted from the dancing.

"I suppose I should be more careful around the two of you, eh?" he said with a small laugh as his strength came back to him slightly.

Furiko stops dancing soon after the Cero Espada goes into resurreccion, instead opting to leap into the air and float just above the battlefield. I've never seen your resurreccion, but I can tell you were sapping the reiatsu just now. Tricky! I guess your powers work by absorbing reiatsu and using it against others, right? Furiko says in a sing-song voice without a hint of distress on her face. So this is what you meant by lend me your powers? Woo, this might be fun~! Furiko raises her naginata above her head and then dramatically points it toward the Cero Espada, suddenly a white Cero flashes out of the tip of the blade and with a blinding light, travels directly towards the Cero Espada. After firing this, Furiko uses Sonido to appear far to the right, where she fires another Cero from. Without skipping a beat, Furiko uses Sonido once more to appear behind the Cero Espada, and grabs him in order to hold him in place as the Cero travel toward his position. Whew! Your physical strength increases in ressureccion, right? Can you break out of this? Furiko says as she waits for the Cero to collide into the Espada.

When Furiko floats up into the air, Kaneko takes the cue and immediately rushes forward toward the Cero Espada to pressure him in order to ensure he doesn't successfully avoid Furiko's oncoming barrage. The instant Furiko fires her first Cero, Kaneko fires a salvo of four bala in his direction, while using Sonido to appear to his left. At that moment, Furiko would have fired her second Cero, so Kaneko fires four more Bala, which split up and converge upon him from every direction. Hope you've got good defenses, boss-kun!

The energetic fraccion says as she uses Sonido to appear a ways in front of the Cero Espada. "Ka-boom!" She points her staff directly at the Cero Espada's heart, and fires a cero that travels much faster than any other cero, going a little faster than most Bala would travel. At that moment, Furiko would have appeared behind the Cero Espada in order to grab him. Kaneko waits a second to see the results of their attacks.

[Jachimaru]

"I hate to disappoint you my dear Espada, but breaking out of this isn't something I was planning on doing in the first place." he said calmly as the cero and bala hit him, only to be absorbed into his body. He then turned his head to slightly face the Trecera Espada. "My physical strength doesn't increase as much as the other Espada does, however, strength is something I hardly rely on." he said, before flipping over top of the Espada, then using his sonido to appear high above them.

When he appeared, he moved his hand in a circular motion, creating 8 bala along the path his hand had made. "I suppose your staff helps to create these faster than I did, yes?" he said to the fraccion, before sending half of the bala towards the fraccion and the other half to the Espada.

When the Cero Espada states that he wasn't planning on breaking out of Furiko's grapple in the first place, Furiko's eyes widen a little in a pleasant surprise. Suddenly, the Cero and Bala all connect to the Cero Espada, which he absorbs into himself. Whew, tough guy like always~! Well, lets see if you can handle the next one! She says as the Cero Espada flips into the air and creates several Bala, obviously mimicking Kaneko's previous technique. When he sends four of the bala toward Furiko, she outstretches her hand, and suddenly Kaneko disappears from her previous position and appears next to Furiko, holding her hand. Kaneko waves her staff and sends the remaining Bala she had saved up to intercept the Bala that the cero espada had fired. Kaneko and I can break the laws of physics and appear next to one another whenever we need to, I guess a little sister wants to protect her big sister at all times, huh? Hehe. Furiko calmly flicks her weapon and takes her fighting stance once more. She knows that Kaneko will begin to start being a lot more aggressive, so Furiko begins to hum a slow and somber tune, one that reflects upon the beauty of life.

The song sends reiatsu in the air that steadily begins to energize Kaneko. While singing, Furiko swings her arm as if she were tossing a baseball. From her hand comes a blazingly fast bala. Furiko tosses another bala, this time faster, just ahead of the other bala. The two bala ricochet off one another and glide towards the Cero Espada on both sides. Now, I'm nothing like Kaneko~ buuuuuut, my Cero and Bala are smarter than your average energy attacks~ She says in a sing-song voice before reverting back to humming her song.

When the Cero Espada fires bala in Kaneko's direction, Kaneko raises her staff in order to begin to disperse them, but upon seeing Furiko's signal, she closes her eyes and transports herself over to Furiko. Hand in hand with Furiko, Kaneko smiles and raises her staff to send the bala she had saved up over to intercept the Bala that the Cero Espada had created. When this is done, Furiko lets go of Kaneko, and takes up a fighting stance. Kaneko follow suit, and prepares herself to go on full offensive, as the Cero Espada's tricky ability is starting to frustrate her. Arrrgh! Boss-Kun in resureccion is such a big palooka! I'll smash 'em with this! Kaneko says angrily, her bright face puffing up and turning a cartoonish shade of red. She brings her staff to shoulder level, and then begins to twirl it about in one hand. Perform, Tribuna! She releases her resurreccion, which turns her previous outfit into something that resembles a storybook magician's regalia. Her reiatsu radiates in a pink shade around her body, as she flings her staff-turned-spear into the air and spins around to make a dramatic pose as Furiko begins to hum her song.

Watch out boss-kun! Imma smash you to bits now! She says as she launches herself forward at staggering speed. She brings her spear forward in an attempt to stab the Cero Espada with the tip, but feints at the last second and leaps above him, sending a Cero down at him from above as she gracefully lands behind him. My zanpakuto, Tribuna doesn't do all that much for me yet, but i'll get better! I get a lot stronger when I turn it on, and my energy attacks seem to be a lot more "Ka-pow!" now too!

The Cero espada stood still, ready to counter the incoming spear, until the fraccion moved above him to fire a bala, which was absorbed. As the other two bala headed his way, he let them be absorbed as well, before he used sonido to appear behind the fraccion, sending a blindingly fast kick to her side. "I apologize if that kick hurt you too much, but I needed to make contact." he said, before aiming a blue bala at the Espada before using his sonido to circle behind her and fire one of the Trecera Espada's own cero at her back. "So tell me, when are you going to step it up?" he asked as the cero was fired.

[Kusubanasan]

Furiko essentially ignores the blue Bala that the Cero Espada fires, casually twirling to the right in order to avoid the attack, and continuing to sing in order to continue to empower Kaneko. When the Cero Espada uses Sonido to get behind her and fire a Cero, one of her Cero into her back she skips to the left in order to avoid this too and then spins around to face the Cero Espada with her weapon. My abilities are a bit of a pain to obtain, but you should have been absorbing reiatsu from my Melodia de la Vida, go ahead and sing a number for awhile and see if you feel stronger while singing~! I'll kick it up a notch soon enough, I do have to actually kill you once for you to obtain my trump card though~ Furiko says in a sing-song voice as she brings her weapon's blade down upon the Cero Espada.

After this attack, Furiko uses sonido to gap a distance, as Kaneko's ultimate attack would now be starting to make contact with him. Furiko uses the lag from the attack to start up here own assault at this moment, by starting to trigger her Resurreccion. Cantar, Lanza de la Misericordia. Upon the vocal command, Furiko's clothing changes into something resembling armor, and her naginata changes to resemble a trident. A valkyrie's duty is to lead the defeated warriors to Valhalla, though I resemble the valkyrie, my duty is to prevent defeated warriors from ever becoming defeated in the first place. Such is the irony of my resurreccion, and such is the purpose of Furiko Kusubana... She says in a dejected tone. I am the Trecera Espada, to see my resurreccion is to see your detruction, and thus your salvation. Furiko seems to have lost all traces of her previously bubbly personality, becoming colder and more seriously immediately.

She dashes forward as the smoke from Kaneko's previous attack clears, and sends her weapon forward, in an attempt to impale the Cero Espada. Regardless if the attack succeeds or not, Furiko will attempt to grab the Cero Espada's face, and charges Cero Positiva, which is now quadrupled in raw power in his face. Understand my power, feel my power, feel your release and succumb to your quiet demise.

Kaneko is unable to dodge the kick, and is thus sent sprawling by the force of the blow. She carefully picks herself up off the ground as she begins to feel rejuvenated from Furiko's singing. "Ow-owwwuuuuch! That hurt looooooooots!" She bleats out in an angry tone as she pulls her spear forward in attempt to hit the Cero Espada. She hits nothing but air though, as the Cero Espada had used Sonido to appear behind Furiko. Oh no! Kaneko says as she notices that the Espada is firing a Cero into her beloved sisters' back. Her anger rises to insurmountable levels as she begins to power her most devastating attack. You've done it now, you palooka! Taste this! She says while twirling her staff about on her hand. A dozen pink balls of energy suddenly appear in a circle above her. She points her spear directly at the Cero Espada, and the balls of energy converge upon him immediately as Furiko moves out of the way. Upon making contact, the balls of energy explode catostrophically.

Yooooooou're totally getting punished for thiiiis! She says as she notices a sudden spike in Furiko's spiritual pressure. This tell-tale spike in pressure confirms to Kaneko that Furiko is now using her resurreccion, and soon her personality will become more violent. Kaneko shudders a little, but knows that she has to help out her sister in the exercise anyways. When Furiko attempts to impale the Cero Espada upon her trident, Kaneko uses Sonido to appear behind him and attempts to impale him from behind with her spear. Regardless, when Furiko makes the grapple at the Cero, Kaneko sidesteps and sends a Cero through her spear towards the Cero Espada's side.
