It was a nice breezy day near Mt. Koifushi, when the ground began to rumble slightly. The earth cracked, then collapsed right at the mountain's base. As a cloud of cold dust rose from the hole, the inside of something similar to the laboratory of squad twelve was revealed. This underground lab that has been hidden from the Shinigami for centuries contained artifacts from the Gotei 13's first days, frozen in thick layers of ice.
In the room were large, frozen figures, some grasped by frozen hands. Upon closer inspection, one would find that these figures were actually Hollows, seemingly frozen by a Shinigami's powers. In the middle of the "Hollow den" was a smaller figure frozen in ice, wearing white armor, and kneeling on the ground.

Soon enough, an investigation team arrives on the scene in order to see if anything could be discovered from the wreckage. Five stalwart shinigami enter the ruined laboratory and are immediately taken aback by what they think are hollows. Woah, these guys. They're frozen or something! This is straaaaange! Says a shinigami who can only be referred to as "Captain Obvious." The others begin to examine the area until they come across a smaller figure that seems to be kneeling. Examination can tell you that this happens to be a shinigami. Oi, anybody got any idea who this palooka is? Captain Obvious asks the crowd in a loud obnoxious voice.
I couldn't tell you, sir. But I suggest we should take this sample back to the lab and see if we can revitalize it. Says a serious looking female scientist as she pulls out a heating instrument and releases the "statue" from its frozen position. The five pick the figure up and place it on a cart that is sent to a laboratory set up outside. The exploration captain looks over at the figure and taps on it with a curious instrument. With a wave of his hand, all the other scientists step away, and he brings the instrument onto the figure, which unfreezes it immediately.
Hey, buddy? You awake? What were you doing down there, eh?

As the shinigami was unfrozen, his appearance immediately changed into the normal shinigami uniform, with a captain's haori. The man stood up, revealing that he was from the twelfth division. He frantically looked around noticing he wasn't in his laboratory, surrounded by unfamiliar Shinigami.
"Ya! Dangshindeul Nuguya!? Yeogi Eodiya!?" The man shouted hysterically as he looked around with anger. He then looked to the person who unfroze him, grabbing him by the collar. "Neo... Shilheomshilneun eotteuge doengeoya?" he asked to him with a serious tone. "Nega Hollow reul chugyeona?" he asked again, obviously not realizing no one was understanding him.
((야! 당신들 누구야!? 여기 어디야!? (Hey! Who are you!? Where am I!?)
너 ... 실험실는 어떻게 된거야? (You... What happened to the laboratory?)
네가 할로우를 죽였나? (Did you kill the Hollows?) The Korean in case you wanna put it into google translate and hear what it sounds like.))

When he's grabbed by the collar, the exploration captain realizes that this fellow is speaking an old archiac language that nobody here speaks. Seems to me like you dunno we don't speak your old language here. 'That don't matter though, I got this thing here that Rindo girl made awhile back.. He grabs the mans' arm and forces him to let him go, and then puts on a hat.
naneun tamsa daejang ibnida. He says in a gruff tone dangsin-eun naengdong jung-i He takes a few steps backwards so that his back is turned to the strange man and continues speaking. museun il-i iss-eossneunji moleugessjiman, dangsin-i malhaejul su-iss-eul geolago gidae haessda. He turns around and faces the man again, and finishes what he was saying. hollows eol-eoss-eoyo. He coughs and adds in one more thing. ttohan, jeohui jig-wondeul-eun hangug-eoleul moshaneun

The captain's eyes widened a bit when he heard that the Hollows were still frozen. "No. No no no. You imbecile! If I'm standing here unfrozen, then it means my bankai's been undone! The Hollows are probably thawing out right now!" he yelled out, before lowering his head and shaking it.
"You know what? I'll answer all of the questions you have. I've got all day." he said sarcastically. "I mean, you just took me from my laboratory mid-research, from a room full of aggressive Hollows who, at this very moment, are probably thawing out this very moment, ready to go crazy the moment they get out!" he said, with an angry laugh as he paced the room, looking for an exit the whole time.

Well, wise-guy, why don't we just walk in there and check out your big bad, scary frozen Hollows, eh? The exploration captain says with a chuckle as he points over at the entrance to the laboratory ruins. Ain't nothin' down there but a bunch of pop-sickles. But hey, we can go take a look if'n yer so worried about these things. He says as he casually strolls over into the entrance.
Upon entering the area, he notices that the hollow are indeed beginning to thaw out, so he pulls out his sword and hacks away at the nearest hollow. Sheesh, I thought we'd go through some spectacular scientific discovery, not pest control. He says as his backup arrives behind him. When they see what's going on, they all start to pull out their swords as well, but aren't so ready to hack at the ice as the captain was.

"Tch. You people don't realize how big of a discovery this place actually is." the captain said under his breath as he entered his lab. As he walked around the lab, he crushed a few thawing Hollows as he looked for the cause of the event; trying to hide it before the others found it.
"Listen up, idiots! Kill these Hollows before they thaw out, and maybe I'll give you that scientific discovery you want! Just hurry up. Once they're heads are thawed out they won't wait up for the rest of their bodies to thaw out. And don't let them touch any of the research!" he called out, before crushing a frozen Hollow as he subtly picked up an object by the Hollow's frozen remains.
As he began to kill off the frozen hollows, they began to thaw at a faster rate. "Great. You guys couldn't take care of the threats before freeing me?" he said to himself, as one of the Hollows broke free of it's encasing and charged towards him. "Well, at least I released all the Gillians before this..." he said with a sigh as he sliced the Hollow in two.

The exploration captain scoffs as Jin-Ho begins to bark orders out as if he were in charge of the situation. He doesn't say anything in particular as he continues to hack away at the hollows that are beginning to thaw out. It's times like this that I wish I did more fighting than science. Guy could get killed doin' this kind of thing. He says in a sarcastic manner, obviously not very impressed by the hollows.
Several of the hollows manage to thaw out fast enough that they regain movement and begin to steadily eliminate some of the scientists in the room. Captain Obvious from before makes a remark upon realizing what's going on. Oh geez, they're thawing out! They're going to like, attack us or something if we don't kill them off fast enough! The female scientist from earlier places her face in her palm while sighing heavily at how stupidly obvious his remark happened to be. She takes a step backwards and begins to use binding kido on the hollow that are unfrozen, leaving them to be slaughtered by the scientists that weren't already engaged with hollow.

"Quit complaining rookie. If you don't want to be here for this discovery, then you can just-" the man started, before he noticed a cage being thrown in his direction. He looked up to see the perpetrator, then let out a sigh. "Of course. There just had to a freaking Adjuchas I forgot about." he said, sighing again, before more lab equipment was thrown his way. "Ya!! Watch what you're throwing, idiot!" he yelled, before turning to the exploration captain.
"This is what you get for complaining you know!! Just shut your mouth and do the job, and maybe my equipment wouldn't end up broken like it is now!" he yelled out, before turning back to the Hollow and charging at it.
((Gonna let "Director" decide which Adjuchas it is, or if it's an unlisted one. XP))

Complainin's what we scientists do best, if we didn't complain no one would wanna go discover things. Now you just sit there young-buck and lemme show you how an old man handles a Gagamel. Says the Exploration Captain as he releases his Zanpakuto and waves it across the ground, causing a pillar of earth to erupt under the hollow and send it out of the lab. He then uses Shunpo to exit the area and give chase. I always been vice-captain power, I just never really cared for all the rules and regulations that dang place keeps puttin' on people. I just wanted to be left alone with a team of scientists and figure out new and interesting ways to kill a man... er... Hollow.
He says when he steps out of the lab and lands in front of the Gagamel. The hollow uses its tentacles to attack the Exploration Captain, who responds by tapping the ground with his foot, which sends a shield of earth up around him that blocks the tentacles. Now now buddy, it ain't right for you ta be attackin' a guy while he's at work. Out of the shield comes a fist of stone, that crashes into the Gagamel's chest and sends it reeling backwards. Hey, Frosty. It's your cue, kill this guy so we can go back ta checkin' ta see if you ain't about to keel over and die on us. He says to Jin-Ho, obviously mocking him in a camaraderie sort of manner.

"Vice-Captain power, huh? How about I show you how a captain handles things?" the man said, as he followed the exploration captain out of the lab. When he got outside, he held his zanpakutou outward, pointing it directly at the Hollow.
"Solidify, Naengdong Wang!" he said, as a burst of light-blue reiatsu came from the sword. He then charged at the Gagamel, dodging the incoming tentacles, while slashing at them and causing the wounds to freeze over. When he reached the Adjuchas' body, he simply placed his palm on the Hollow, before it became engulfed in ice. With a light hit afterwards, it shattered into pieces. "Thanks for the help, but you should get back to the la-" he said before falling on one knee as his zanpakutou lost it's bluish hue.
"Looks like I still haven't recovered all of my reiatsu from before I was sealed up..." he said, sitting down. "Take care of the Hollows please. I'm gonna have to wait it out a bit." he said with a sigh as he sheathed his weapon.

I ain't gotta do nothin' the rest of the hollows are already cleaned up by the other scientists. Now we just gotta get all that equipment outta there and see what's up with your little situation... Once he says that, he sheaths his sword and strolls back into the laboratory entrance, where the other scientists have indeed finished off the rest of the hollows. He wipes his nose and then begins giving orders to secure the equipment and sends a medic over to check on Jin.
Let me see what's wrong with you, sir. The medic observes Jin for a small while, and soon deduces that he's simply tired, and isn't about to keel over or something. He hands Jin an energy pill and goes back into the site to help with recovering the equipment. Soon after the medic goes in, the Exploration captain comes out and begins to question Jin about what happened. So Frosty, what's goin on anyways? Why were you a giant popsickle earlier, eh?

The captain took the pill and examined it, before swallowing it. "First off, the name's Yun Jin-Ho, captain of the Gotei 13's research and development division. Secondly, you'll keep all of the research in that laboratory. I'll secure it personally and bring it to you. I don't want you idiots breaking my inventions." he said, as he stood up and headed to the lab's entrance.
"I was sealed by my bankai ability because... well, I miscalculated the strength of the cages and the strength of the Hollows." he said, not telling the whole truth of the events. "As you could see, they all got out and I was outnumbered. The only way to keep those Hollows from invading Soul Society was to seal them. And that's that." he finished, reaching the lab's entrance.
"Alright, you guys!! Here's how it's going to go! You're free to take one sample of anything that can fit in the palm of your hand back to your own laboratories! Leave any weaponry here! If you want to know about the weaponry, do your research in this building or I'll just give you my research notes! I was tasked by Captain Yamamoto to create anti-Hollow weaponry, and until I get orders from him, all Anti-Hollow materials will be left here!" he shouted at the scientists who were gathering his things together.
"Sorry if it feels like I'm going over your head with this. But until my own research agendas are completed, or Captain Commander Yamamoto orders me otherwise, my important research stays here." he said to the exploration captain, as he walked through his lab, putting items in order and tossing out the shards of ice on the ground.

The Exploration Captain looks at Jin-Ho strangely when he introduces himself as the Captain of Soul Society's R&D Department. Everybody knows that Nathan Cantu is the captain of that department. Furthermore, when Jin-Ho mentions the name Commander Yamamoto after telling the scientists to put down his materials, the Exploration Captain does a double-take. Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah. I might have to slow you down a notch and tell ya something. He says in an exasperated tone.
"You must've been frozen a long time if Commander Yamamoto was still around, cuz that fellas' been dead since before I was around in the seireitei, And I'm pretty old." He places his hand on his chin, and figures that it might be wise to take this man to the Soul Society in order to see if there are any records on him. "Ain't nobody know who you are, but we got a solution to that. If there are any records on you at all, the Research and Development Division's gonna be who. If they ain't got it, Rindo will." He snaps his finger and Captain Obvious from earlier comes over to see what he wants. Sir, we're putting down equipment, if that's what you needed to know. The Exploration Captain places his face in his palm and speaks through gritted teeth. Take this guy into the Soul Society and try'n see if'n ya can figure out who this guy is. We're gonna hafta talk to Commander Stelevein about this one.

Jin-Ho's eyes widened when he heard Captain Commander Yamamoto had been dead for awhile. "Wait, what? There's no way the Captain Commander is dead. Look here, just go get Lieutenant Kirio and she'll vouch for me." he said with a laugh as if they were trying to play a joke on him and failed. He then sighed, before turning to follow Captain Obvious.
"But if it'll make you feel better, I'll go back to my barracks and find proof, other than the obvious Captain's Haori I'm wearing right now." he said with another laugh as he shook his head and followed the other shinigami back to the Seireitei.
