It was the middle of summer and on this day it was relatively nice out. The sun would peek out from behind clouds every few minutes A cold front had just begun to pass through and that was the root cause of the nice weather. The sky was dotted with clouds yet was still blue and beautiful nonetheless. As the summer breeze blew birds would chirp and cicada's would buzz as the animal's of summer enjoyed the cool day just as the people did.
Kamidora Masuta would be walking down the street on this particular day with his cloth sleeved Zanpaktou in tow. Kami would be wearing a pair of dark beige cargo shorts, a graphic tee with a large depiction of a fleur-de-lis, and a pair of . His Zanpkatou would be slung over his right shoulder as it was nesteld in it's bright yellow cloth sleeve. Kami would have his long brown and wavy hair up in a chonmage as he didn't feel like letting it hang down this afternoon.
Kami was going to the park to have a nice and quiet day full of nothing more than lounging around the park under a nice Gingko tree. He'd walk down the street a few blocks away and see people going about there business and also enjoying the nice weather. He'd see children walking happily happily with there parent's and young couple having a peaceful lunch outside of a restraunt in old and rustic looking metal chairs. He'd continue walking for a block and reach one of the four corners of the park. He'd look to his left and see people laying out, other's jogging, and even a man playing fetch with a what seemed like shepard dog.
Kami would walk into the park and take a large inhale as his lungs were filled with the delightful and refreshing clean air of the park. He would look straigh ahead and see the sheen of water and he would instantly notice it as the park's pond. The pond was situated in the center of the park and it was adorned with a small island and many small boat's that could be rented for a minimal fee. He'd smile at the site and he'd follow the concrete walkway to the edge of the pond that was ringed mostly with a sort of same walkway.
Once Kami would reach the walkway he'd make his way to a small portable vendor and purchase a bottle of water. After making his purchase he'd walk to the shade of a nearby Gingko and slide his flip flops off and then lay down letting his toes run through the grass a slight bit. He'd look up as a breeze blew slightly and caused one of the Gingko leaves to fall directly onto his chest. After the leaf had landed he'd pick it up and study it before placing it back and closing his eyes and drifting off into space. As he'd drift off his reiatsu would seep out a slight bit but nothing to major to endanger himself or any of the of people in the park.
(This is Kami pre-fight against Koga so he's acting normal and bringing it up would essentially make yourself look kinda stupid.)

On this cool summer's day, Shizuka was out on errands for her shop, making sure that product was coming in on the allotted dates. As she takes a shortcut through a familiar park, she senses a spiritual pressure. Slightly intrigued, she tracks the pressure to a man with long hair who is casually meandering around the park. This man is familiar to Shizuka, who had seen him before in the past. She knows this man probably doesn't remember her at all though, but she strolls up to him anyways, and takes a seat beside him.
Nice day eh, Masuta-san? I see you're enjoying what Karakura has to offer, while single-handedly becoming a huge piece of bait for any hollow that might be around.
She chuckles a little, expecting the man to non-chalantly brush her comment aside, but nontheless she was bored and was looking for a small amount of entertainment.

Kami would open one of his eye's as he'd hear the sound of grass being crushed under foot. He would look to see a somewhat short young girl coming close. He'd raise his eyebrow as he was unsure what this girl's business was with him, he'd shrug it off and close his eye's back kind of sure she'd leave him alone.
Kami would lay there under the gingko tree and notice the girl sit beside him. He'd hear her speak his name which to somewhat surprised him considering he had no clue who this young girl was. Kami would just shrug it off as a random occurence. What really caught his attention was when she spoke of him becoming hollow bait. He'd sort of raise a eyebrow to this as he was unsure if she was a shinigami or something else. Kami would reply in a sort of uncaring tone. "If any hollow want's to bother me all I can say is more power to them."
Kami would close his eye's and begin speaking with Kaminari Ryu about the odd occurrence. Kaminari would just sigh and say "I'm sure she's some shinigami that knew you from the Soul Society day's. You were a bit popular were you not?" Kami would laugh and agree as he'd then leave the spirit world and instead drift around in his mind.

At Kami's casual dismissal of any care about an impending Hollow attack, Shizuka can't help by put on a sly smile. She's right about how Kami seems not to know who she is though, as she didn't make much of an impression to anybody while she lived under Urahara's mentorship.
So, What've you been doing with yourself lately eh? I haven't been out and about all that much, so I don't catch you anywhere. Master Urahara used to keep tabs on you though..
She drifts off a little into thought, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a capsule, which she activates, and out pops a bottle of Sake. She offers the Sake to Kami, as a friendly gesture.
Want a drink? This stuff hits the spot like no other on days like this.

Kami would casually open his eye closest the girl and grin a little. He'd be thinking back to Urahara and how he'd helped him in his dire time of need. He'd remember falling from a senkaimon and how one of the first visions he saw after he came to was a man with a scruffy head of hair and green and white striped hat. "Yea, I alway's told that scruffy headed brainiac to just leave me be and let me live my life but he insisted on keeping taps anyway."
Kami would watch as the girl would pull out a capsule object and hit it making a sake bottle pop out of it. He'd not be surprised as he'd seen crazier things from not only his day's in the Soul Society but also from Urahara himself. At the offer of some sake he'd grin a little and show a somewhat sharp canine like tooth. He'd then say in a low and deep voice. "Won't you be a dear and pour me a slight bit." His aim was to charm this young girl into pouring it for him as he had no intention of doing it himself.

Shizuka nods her head and then pours the sake into a cup, which she offers to Kami. Hits the spot, don't it? Ho ho ho... She drifts off into thought a little bit, feeling as though she might have felt some kind of spiritual pressure off in the distance, but it seems to have been flickering off and on. She accidentely ends up voicing her concerns out loud. Hmm... those Arrancar are tricky, coming here and shooting off spiritual pressure and then leaving... it's like they're trying to drop off a message or something...
When she finishes musing, she pours herself a drink and stares off into the distance. She then asks Kami a question, fishing for an answer to a somewhat obvious inquiry. You ever get the feeling that something big is about to happen? I'm just a lowly candy-shop owner, and it seems that I'll have to deal with a lot of bluster soon..

Kami would close his eye's and take a swig of the sake and hear the girl say something about the sake hitting the spot. To this Kami would nod lightly and sigh as he'd become bored. He would continue to lay under the Gingko and enjoy the shade as he'd feel a spiritual pressure to which he'd become somewhat intrigued but would instantly become bored again as it would disappear.
Kami would shrug to the question and say in a low and quiet tone. "I don't know and I don't care." Kami would stretch his arms back and behind his head and listen to her continue to speak but this time about her having to deal with a bluster to which he'd shrug off. He would peer out the corner of his eye closest the girl and would become more and more curious as to why this girl took such a liking to him even though they'd never met but when he was in the shop for that short period of time.

Shizuka's eyes narrow as her facial expression becomes more grim, something big is going down soon, and Shizuka has to take precautions for it, lest the world of the living be reduced to ruin in the resulting chaos a battle between Shinigami and Espada would cause. The first thought in her mind is that Kami would be an incredible asset to the cause of expelling interlopers from this area. Listen, you're a fairly powerful being when it comes to spiritual pressure. I can feel not one, but two different powerful energy signatures from your body at the moment as we speak. Shizuka lets out a somewhat large sigh, and then continues to speak.
I can get just wanting to be left alone, but don't overdo it okay? Something powerful might interrupt your peaceful day soon. I don't exactly know what yet, but I feel it's going to be something along the lines of a powerful arrancar. The spiritual pressure in the distance fades in and out once more, almost as if on cue with Shizuka's speech. Shizuka of course, has nothing to do with this spiritual pressure, but she becomes worried about it all the same. With her face pointing a little downward so that her hat shades her eyes, she asks Kami an important question. I guess the question bares asking. Will you defend this city if you or it comes under attack by Arrancar or Shinigami?

Kami would lay under the tree and sit his cup of sake on his chest as he'd listen to this girl talk more about him and his hollow spirit. He would tire of listening to the girl beat around the bush. He wasn't stupid and knew that the girl wanted something of him. The only thing was. What does this girl want?
Kami would hear the girl say something about being careful and that something might come to ruin his day. To this Kami would laugh a little to himself and sigh as he'd think of what's the worse that could happen. He'd lay there and feel a slight spiritual pressure far in the distance and shrugged it off. All he knew was that if something did come to ruin his day that he had Kaminari with him and that he'd do everything in his power to deal with it.
Kami would watch out the corner of his eye as the girls expression became worried and downtrotten. He'd wonder what she was so upset about and what it had to do with. He'd then see her lower her head so that her eyes became shaded. He'd then hear her ask him would he protect the city. He'd laugh a little at the girl's question. "Well if it comes down to it then I guess I won't have much choice." He'd sigh and sip some sake before sitting up on the tree and looking around.

Shizuka's eyes brighten up in ecstasy when Kami responds to her question favorably, her face lights up with a goofy smile, as she feels a little more relieved about the attack she is worried about. Kami is powerful, she can sense it. And if he helped to protect the city, his blade would be an incredible asset to any kind of cause that Shizuka would rally. Ah! I guess nobody has much choice when faced with their home being demolished by rude people who don't know how to just get along eh? Well that's simply fantastic. If something happens, I'm counting on ya!
Shizuka then suddenly reverts to a more serious state, wondering if she would be able to get the other Vizard in town to help her if a battle ever occured. She takes another sip of her cup of sake in the process of thinking, but her train of thought is interrupted by a voice coming from behind her. Master, are you sure you should be pestering this man? I am sure he will prove himself when the time comes. The voice belongs to her Zanpakuto, Chihime. Shizuka wonders why Chihime would choose to reveal himself to not only her, but Kami as well. Y'know, normally you guys are supposed to stay in our heads. But here you are, in the flesh, chastising me for simply having a drink and a conversation. Geez, will the wonders never end?
Chihime preens a little, offended that Shizuka would speak to him so. He begins to speak, but Shizuka waves her hand, sending him away before anything he says would be audible. Anyways, do me a favor if something does come up. Contact me at my store. By the time things happen, I just might have a way to keep a lid on these things.

Kami would look around and see a jogger go by and then a young lady with a baby carriage. He'd smile and know that if anything did come to attack the town he would protect it with all he had and all Kaminari had. He'd think of the coming attack and grin a little knowing that it would give him something to do.
Kami would sit and listen to Shizuka and hear her speak of the arrancar being rude and not wanting to get along with other's. To this Kami kind of found it to be a little one-sided since she did not know the enemy. "Well I'm sure not all of the arrancar are bad and want to destroy. I'm sure come are kind and want nothing more than to coexsist." Kami would sigh, he'd hate to talk with other's and found it a hassle to try and get his point across to anyone other than Kaminari.
Kami would sit there and run his finger's back and forth through the grass as he'd enjoy the day. He'd then hear a unfamiliar voice begin to speak as if he'd have been in the conversation the entire time. He'd look back to see a gray haired man in a sort of overcoat. He'd not know whom it was until Shizuka said something about supposed to stay in our head. To this Kami knew it was her zanpaktou's spirit since he could feel a somewhat if not exactly the same reiatsu from it that he felt from Shizuka.
Kami would stop paying the man attention as soon as he figured out who it was. Kami would hear Kaminari speak to him in his head and say. "I can't believe he would do something so unkind to his own master. I'm glad were friends sir." Kami would nod to this and smile. Kami would then hear Shizuka say something about warning her should something happen. To this Kami would grin and say in a joking tone. "I'll think about giving you a call. That is if one of them doesn't kill me before I reach a phone." Kami would laugh some as he'd think of what a unhonorable way it would be to die just because he was trying to make a phone call.

Shizuka pays attention to what he says about not all the arrancar being bad and destructive. Thinking back about five hundred years ago, Shizuka does seem to recall Urahara telling her things about several somewhat benevolent Hollow. Well, I'm not very well going to go smack around some guy who just wants to enjoy his day, y'know? If any Arrancar show up and don't attack, they'll be just dandy. She runs her hand over her hat while smiling a little bit goofy, and then her eyes grow wide.
Yeah about that, that was my Zanpakuto, Chihime. He's a bit of a cad, but we're quite good friends! Don't let that mistake ya, I wouldn't say things like that to him if he couldn't take it. When Kami makes a joke about the phone call, Shizuka giggles a little, as she finds the joke to be funny. Hopefully, a lifetime in the desert teaches a body some patience, eh? I'm sure nobody is going to start attacking you while you're on the phone. But you best put my store on speed dial just in case. Shizuka winks a little before standing to her feet and gazing at the sun. The day feels a tad warm, so she adjusts her scarf a little before using her arm as a visor to prevent her eyes from being damaged by the sun. Whew, what a day huh? You don't get many nice days like this one, so we'd best enjoy it while we can. We'll deal with the knuckle-heads when they come. Enjoying herself, Shizuka spins around on one foot with her arms outstretched before allowing herself to fall back down onto the grass with her arms out wide.
Hmm, what do you suppose that spiritual pressure is, the one that flickers in and out like he's trying to be sneaky or something?
