Kotei would walk around his squad's barrack's looking as his subordinates hung paper lanterns and set out tables and what not around the main courtyard. The sun had just begun setting and there was about a half hour before people would start arriving. "Good work men and ladies. Let's finish up the last detail's and we can all relax with a nice cup of sake and a comfortable seat." He'd be sure to put emphasis on the ladies part as he walked by a woman bent over setting a table and pinched her butt. He'd quickly slide behind another man and laugh a little as he got yelled at.
Kotei had a party planned for the entire Soul Society that night and wanted to make sure everything was ready. He ran down a check list and checked as he went saying. "Sake, check. Tea, check. Lanterns, check. Food, check. People, no check. Well at least not for long." Kotei walked around as he checked things looking at them. The big stack of sake bottle's, the tea pot's on the few burners, the lantern's hung and lit, the food brought in from the finest eatery he knew of, and the open doors for anyone to enter.
Kotei waved and greeted the few people that first came in saying to them. "Please come in have some food, drink, and of all things have some fun." He'd be smiling the entire time as he'd be enjoying the amount of fun everyone was having. He'd sit back near the back where he had a table specially set up for himself and any other captain's that might come. He'd sip some sake as he watched people walking around and having pure, wholesome, good hearted fun.

As the Party was finished being prepared, Kiba could be found sitting in his Barracks, interested in finding something to do. All of his Captain's paperwork was done and he had no assignments other than giving his subordinates assignments, which he had already done. Once hearing about Squad 8's party he shrugged, stood up, and walked outside his barracks where Kenji would normally be sitting. "Kenji, care to join me to Squad 8's Party?"
Roughly 5 minutes later, Kiba and Kenji Nakamura entered the barracks, looking around a moment before nodding to Kenji "You may do what you wish." He said before walking over to a seat near the wall and sitting, watching the party go on around him.

When Kiba asked if I wanted to go to the party, I just said "Sure." and followed him. It took us about 5 minutes to get there, and when Kiba said I could do as I wish, I went straight for some sake and the nearest unseated table. While drinking my sake, I looked around at everyone else, having a fun time, it looked like. I was now curious where Kiba had gone to, but was to lazy to leave this comfortable seat, so I just moved my head around looking for him.

Tsuko had heard about the party that was being thrown by Kotei, and would have gone if it weren't his turn to do the daily chores. The problem wasn't that he had to finish them, but instead was because of him being tired after having already completed them. He looked out of his barracks and saw numerous people walking in the direction of Squad 8's Barracks.
He thought to himself that Kotei might be dissapointed if Tsuko didn't show for the party, but then let himself be convinced otherwise by the reasoning that with all the Sake he would be drinking, and all the women he would be harassing; Kotei wouldn't even notice Tsuko's absence. Besides, Kotei would understand that Tsuko needed the rest and that there would be other chances to party in the future. Tsuko went away from his window and went over to his bed, which he layed in and attempted to get some rest.

Stelevein slid back in his seat and relaxed after finishing his capt. paperwork. It had been a long day, as Stelevein attempted to relax he heard about a party in the squad 8 barracks. It had been awhile since he had gotten in invite to a party, not to mention he usually had his work cut out for him, but lately he hadn't much work at all. He sighed and agreed upon going.
stelevein walked out of his barracks and used shunpo to quickly get to the party. He didn't want to waste much time at all. He walked through the barracks to squad 8 and sat at the table of which he assumed was for captains, considering he saw Kotei sitting there. He didn't speak to anyone and simply sat down, grabbed a bottle of sake and poured him a glass.

Following his captain through the door Sieghart went and seated himself next to Kotei, "Nice party," he said as he reached for the bottle of sake only to have his wrist griped like a vice, it wasn't necessarily uncomfortable but he really did want that sake.

Kotei would sit at his table and watch as the people poured into his barrack's. Everyone came with different expressions whether they be happy, exhausted, sad, or mad. Everyone seemed to become enlightened with happiness as they broke the threshold of the barrack's.
Kotei would watch as Kiba and Kenji Nakamura would step in and in accordance with his ideal's of greeting other's he raises his glass a slight bit to them and nod's his head back, in a sort of wassup fashion. He didn't feel like intruding and asking them to sit with him cuz it was a party and they could do as they wanted, that is to a point though.
Kotei would look aroud with a slight bit of confusion as he'd noticed no Tsuko. He'd say to himself as he bit his lip. "I wonder where that sorry excuse for a Captain could be." Kotei would laugh as saying this as he didn't mean it and actually found Tsuko to be one of his favorite fellow Captain's. Kotei would arise from his seat and as quietly as possible backflip onto the wall of his barrack's, he'd then locate Squad 7 barrack's and with as much haste as he can remember ever using he shunpoed to the main gate and walked inside seeing a very disgruntled squad memeber. Kotei would smile and say in a low tone. "Uh excuse me." The man would raise his head and look to me. "What!?" He'd instantly change tone at the sight of the white haori. "Sorry Captain. What may I help you with?" Kotei would reply. "Would you please tell me where Captain Tsuko is?" The man would quickly reply. "Well he's went to bed for the night but..." The man would move and go for the barrack's door and say. "I'll go get him for you." Kotei would quickly rebutle. "No, no. Please let him sleep. I'll come back another time." Kotei would leave as quietly as he entered and return to the party, to be exact his seat.
Once Kotei was back in his seat he'd look to the door and see Stele-ji step in and he'd do the same to him as he'd done to Kiba and Kenji. After doing this he'd notice him coming for the table. Kotei would pay no attention to his sitting beside of him and instead he'd pay attention to the party for any troublemakers. He'd notice none but was sure to keep a keen eye for them.
Kotei would hear a faint voice as he'd sip from his cup and he'd then notice a hand reach and grab his precious sake bottle. As soon as he saw the hand he'd grab it and grip as tightly as he could he was actually aiming to try and break whomever's wrist it was. Kotei wasn't to keen on letting his precious nectar be taken by anyone no matter who the culprit was. He'd look and see Seighart. "I'm going to suggest getting a bottle from the reserve's." Kotei would raise his free hand and point at the stack of sake bottle's and cup's beside it. He'd hold on tightly until Sieghart releases his grip of the bottle and then he'd release his grip on his wrist and refill his cup.

Stelevein watched as his Vice Captain and Captain Kotei would argue over such a heinous thing. He sighed and without much delay spoke to them. "Now, what are we really fighting for, either of you could have gotten a bottle from the reserves, and I personally would have let Sieghart have my bottle, so that I may get a full bottle from the reserves. That is of course if I were you." As he said this he slapped Sieghart in the back of the head, which he'd done so many times before.
"And you, vice Captain sieghart, I hope you know theft is not tollerated. Not, to mention when you steal from a captain, if he wanted to he could have cut your hand off, and I would not have done a thing about it. Now it's a party so have fun, but in an appropriate manner please." He said before returning his attention to the party and picking up his glass of sake and taking a small sip.
Stelevein never drank much, so it was only natural he'd take small sips at a time.

Rubbing his head where a bump was starting to form from repeated abuse Sieghart stood from his seat looking from Kotei to his captain and said, "My apologies I didn't mean to cause a problem and I certainly didn't mean to steal, I just figured it was your party and you had plenty, my bad." He walked around the table to grab a new bottle of sake, waved hello at a group of shinigami across the room, and returned to the table. "Would you two like a refill before i go outside, it's a nice night and I think i'm going to enjoy the breeze." He held out the bottle offering.

Kotei would watch as the Squad 1 lieutenant released his hand on the bottle. After he'd let go Kotei would take the bottle and refill his cup. After refilling his cup Kotei would hear Stele scold Sieghart for trying to take the bottle. Kotei would sort of not care but he knew saying something would be best. "Thank you Stele-ji and as for you Sieg I know I'm not your captain but here's a word of advice. Don't go taking things that aren't rightfully your's."
Kotei would take a swig from his cup and as soon as he'd set it down he'd see Sieg coming with a bottle. When Sieg would hold out the bottle Kotei would wave his hand at him sort of signalling 'no I'm fine'. He'd hear Sieg say something about enjoying a breeze and he'd laugh a little considering his Zanpaktou was wind based.
