CAUTION Science at work [Nathan]

As Kotei sat in his captain's office he'd let out a deep and bellowing sigh and then saying. "Man this is one boring place." He'd look around at the empty room and the book's on the shelves before snapping his finger's and saying while sitting up quickly. "I got it!"

Kotei would slide on his haori and walk out of his barrack's and look up and down the walkway outside. He'd see a few passerby's and wave hello to them. He'd stop and chat with a few people and make it his business to stop and talk to almost every young and good looking shinigami female. His mission if you'd call it that was the squad 12 barrack's. The reason being is he wanted to Nathan about a certain topic that had popped into his head.

Not many knew it but Kotei was a bit of a tinkerer himself. He enjoyed pushing the limit's of the science that he knew. He found that his zanpaktou was a great help for some things he worked on. He'd usually only make small gadgets and contraptions with stuff he'd find laying around but lately he'd been getting "antsy" and wanted to work on higher grade things.

He'd walk into squad 12 barrack's and look around as he walked the hall's as if he were a regular. He'd wave at the squad 12 shinigami's and speak to a few of them as he'd try to find the captain's office. After asking a few people he'd get a bearing and find it. Kotei would knock on the door to the office as he'd stand there waiting for a reply to enter.

While in my lab experimenting on the new prototype poison plant guards I felt the presence of a captain entering my barracks. "Hmph. It fills like captain Kotei's spiritual pressure. He's no doubt here for me" I turn to my expirements relizing they would be a nuisance during captain Kotie's visit. I quickly decide that I must dispatch of them, I slowly draw my zanpakuto. I speak in an annoyed tone "I hate riding of my unfinished things. Oh well." The plants relize i wish to get rid of them. They thrust forward at me and in that moment I use shunpo and appear behind them. thier heads and body disintagrate as they fall to the ground. "I'll just ask Kenji for more later." I sense that Kotei is near my lab. I begin to walk slowly to the door hunching my back, hands in pocket. (My my, it'll be awhile till im at the door.) I pull out from my left pocket a small one eyed whined up robotic bird. (This should do it.) I think holding the bird in my palm. I begin to whined up the bird while I walk. After 5 whineds I say to it. "I'll be there in moments captain." I then let the bird go and it begins to fly at grand speed. Seconds later i here a knock on the door. minutes later the bird reaches the door and punctures its beak threw it almost hitting kotei's forehead. It's mouth slowly opens where a small speaker is can be seen. It speaks in my voice."I'll be there in moments captain." Acid then leaks from the bird melting the door. As it melts a figure can be seen. "What can I help you with captain?"

Kotei would stand at the door patiently awaiting Nathan to come and open it. He'd slide his arms inside his haori as he waited. He'd feel a slight rise in Nathan's reiatsu for a moment but shrugged it off as nothing. He'd also feel a strange inhuman reiatsu, but then again this is Squad 12 barracks and anything can happen so he shrugged it off as well.

When Kotei would go to open the door and let himself in he'd hear a noise coming towards him. He'd pull his hand away and step back from fear that he had no clue what was coming. When the bird would puncture the door he'd raise his eyebrow and touch it just as it turned to acid. The acid would simply run off his finger and he'd laugh a little. "Yep my San Sosho has still got it."

Kotei would flick the little bit of acid off his finger and onto the floor beside him as he'd see Nathan. "Oh hey Nathan." Kotei would walk in and past Nathan as though it were his barrack's and he'd begin looking around at the inventions. "Nathan I've come to you with a proposition." Kotei would turn to Nathan and say. "I want to help you with your inventions."

Kotei would turn back and see the plant laying on the floor. He'd pick it up and begin studying it. "Ya know I'd like to help but I don't want to really be made to work. Soooo I was thinking I could come by in my free time and tinker around in the facilities and maybe help you with some of your current works." Kotei would turn again and look at Nathan. "So what do ya think?"
