The Soul Society has been easily defeating Hollows for the past thousands of years. Now, the Hollows seem to appear less and less, and the Hollows that do appear are usually stronger than the average Hollow, some even being menos class. This has brought up suspicion within the Seireitei. Arrancar have also been appearing constantly, but seemingly doing no damage to others, and usually running when they see Shinigami. The Soul Society has been worried about the recent Hollow and Arrancar activity, even to the point of asking Vizards and Humans who can see them for help. They suspect that the Arrancar are planning something... something big.
The Hollows and Arrancar have appeared apparently with two intentions, scout the world of the living and the Soul Society, and cause as much destruction as they can along the way. Those who cannot detect spiritual pressure wouldn't suspect anything. The Arrancar and Hollows have simply caused devastating accidents, trucks crashing into building creating large fires or similar actions, never directly using their abilities for the destruction. Meanwhile, the strongest of all hollows within Hueco Mundo, the 0 Espada sits in wait, planning for the time to completely end the world and the Soul Societies existence.
Meanwhile; Captain from the soul society is leading his group of Shinigami to Hueco Mundo. The Arrancar and espada in Hueco Mundo have no such information of the arrival of the Shinigami to Hueco Mundo. His/hers job, to uncover as much as he can about the plans of the arrancar and espada. While also attempting to slow down their plans.
