Trio of Bad Omens [Fate]

Fate saw the Captain's eyes widen for a moment at what she said, was it that shocking for him, she wondered to herself peacefully. Then hearing him speak. "Of course. As you wish," Fate nods towards him, then continuing to walk back she humed softly to herself as they did. Fate watched making sure her squad and the Captain's were doing well and they were, at least it would not take long to complete she thought. Hearing the Captain speak again she nodded and spoke. "Sure." Fate followed the Captain.

Hearing Kichiro kick and scream wanting out of the bakudo Fate had put him in she sighed, she increased her resitsu on the bakudo tighening it slightly, then seeing the Captain knock Kichiro unconcious, she nodded towards him. It would go much quicker without Kichiro talking and disturbing everyone around that's for sure. When the Captain caugh him Fate wondered if she needed to release the bakudo on him she decided not to for the moment knowing he would say to release it when needed or if Fate even needed to lift it.

As they continued Fate saw, looking around the "make-shift" squad barracks that were placed in the rukon district, it looked better than most "homes" in this district.....but...still. Nodding towards the Captain as he spoke, Fate followed him inside, nodding to the two shinigami who took the now unconcious Kichiro away into custody. Hearing and listening to the Captain, Fate nodded carefully...it was very strange for something not to happen even more so for it being that part of Rukongai....very strange indeed....but that would have to be looked at, at a later date in time. Fate raised an eyebrow when the Captain's tone became more serious as he spoke. "Keep your wits about you and watch the shadows in the shadows." Listening Fate nodded she knew what he ment by that, she also knew that it ment she had to be more careful.....more so than normal.

Fate could already tell people were watching them, she didn't need to look to tell that...it was common for people to want to gossip even more so if it involved Gotei 13 and Gotei 13 Captains no less. Fate saw the Captain ready to leave just after he spoke so did she. "Your very welcome Captain, if you wish to have the other of Kichiro's thugs transported to your barracks just let me know and I will be glad to help with that no problem." Fate smiled towards the Captain and nodded, heading out of the Eighth Division barracks, with a small sigh she headed towards her own barracks.

Fate seemed to recognize Hibiki's warning, and to that the Captain was quite relieved. As the two parted ways, the Eighth Division Captain had more than a few questions on his mind, but little time to find any answers. The pieces are all in place, and the match is about to begin, Hibiki thought ominously, startling himself briefly from his own premonition. He turned and made his way into the makeshift headquarters, finding one of his subordinates directly in his path down the main hall. "Kichiro has been put into the observation cell, sir. Shall we begin interrogation?" Hibiki considered the question for a moment as he put a hand over his chin, questioningly. "Proceed with the interrogation. Make sure there's at least two personnel watching him at all times as well," the Captain ordered somewhat halfheartedly. The shinigami subordinate looked at his Captain with hesitation, and then nodded quickly and began sprinting down the hall towards the prisoner cells. "Wait," the Captain beckoned at his subordinate just after the squad member had nearly made his way down the hall. "Sir? Send word that we need to bolster our defensive line. Double the watch and increase patrols by one unit per squad." With another quick nod, the subordinate dashed away, leaving Hibiki to his thoughts. "I can only hope..."

"Sayomi-dono!" an armored thug blurted out in the midst of a grand room, skidding to a stop after his brief sprint and falling to his knees obediently. Across the royal-looking room which was supported by giant beams, laid a throne of pillows. Behind that, a giant emblem engraved into a large golden shield was hung. On top of the mountain of pillows sat a middle-aged man, cloaked in lavish robes, and flanked by a half a dozen women and a plethora of exotic cuisine. An evident scar ran down the man's right eye, and his lengthy beard protruded from his stern-looking face. His muscular body twitched angrily at the interruption to his festivities by the intruding thug. "What?" the lordly assuming figure growled in a guttural sense. The thug gasped audibly, trying to form the words in his mouth to explain his rude intrusion. "S-sir. The shinigami have attacked one of our enforcement patrols." The Sayomi leader waved his subordinate away with a uninterested hand, leaning back as one of the women reluctantly fed him a piece of fruit.

"It was Kichiro's patrol...sir," the thug continued, his words trembling a bit in urgency and fear. The lord flung his body upright and nearly spit out his food in mid-bite. "What did you say?! Kichiro?! My son?!" he roared. The thug recoiled, cleared his throat, and then continued his explanation. "One of our scouts just reported in. He said he just saw Kichiro's patrol get taken out - and by shinigami. Two...shinigami." The Sayomi elder smashed one of his fists against a nearby bowl, shattering both the container and its contents instantly. "Two?! Two shinigami?! This better be a joke..." he warned as he eyes began to intensify. "No sir!" the thug yelped, "Kichiro's patrol hasn't been spotted for a few hours! And besides...the scout said that...it was Captains that done got em." A brief silence ensued between the leader and his thug. "Captains," the Sayomi leader growled as his teeth barred like a beast's.

"DAMN SHINIGAMI!" the leader yelled suddenly, flinging a great amount of food, liquor, and dishware across the great wooden room. "I'll have all their heads! Those cowards!" The women all recoiled and shrieked in tandem at their ruler's anger - after all, he was famous for having a short temper. "You!" the lord growled with a pointed finger at the reporting thug. "M-me? Ye-Yessir?! Assemble the clansmen! Everyone, and I mean everyone! If the Gotei thirteen desires a war, then I'll give them a war!" The thug nodded, picked himself up from the ground and ran towards the doorway. "Wait!" the leader replied just before his subordinate had exited through the grand double-doors of his private throne room. "Contact the Triad as well. T-the Triad?! Yessir!" The thug soon exited and the double-doors came to a close with a tremendous boom. "The shinigami want a fight, eh? We'll see how they deal with Makoto Sayomi, the Beast of the North," the lord, Makoto, said with a tooth-filled grin as he turned to eye the giant golden shield behind his throne. "We'll see...

OOC: Okay, the thread is essentially done now. This was kinda an intro topic to something bigger I had in mind. I'll post a follow-up thread eventually or if you want me to post it earlier just PM me.
