It was a warm summer day, the cicadas buzzed and the birds chirped. Everything was calm in Karakura town, a good thing considering all the bad things that usually transpire in the small and unfortunately burdened town.
Kami the young vizard man would be walking along the sidewalk past the local merchants and artisans shops as they tried to persuade him to buy there merchandise versus the stall next to them. Every time someone would say buy this he'd just shake his head and wave his hand lightly at whatever it was they were trying to sell.
Kami looked to be about 20 something with just above the shoulder length brown wavy hair. He was wearing a pair of cargo shorts and jogging sneakers, he also wore a shirt with a single sort of racing stripe starting from the left shoulder and running the length of the shirt down. He had his zanpaktou slung over his right shoulder, as usual having it in it's cloth sleeve so no one would actually see the zanpaktou sitting in it's sheath but merely believe it was a kendo stick.
Kami would continue walking around the stalls looking at everything and taking in the delightful smells of all the foods and spices that people had grown, raised, or bought to sell. He'd look at a few things but only looked around knowing that he only had enough money to buy cheap grocery store type food for the rest of the week.

Sairou was sent to the world of the living in order to check out recent hollow and arrancar activity. Despite his best efforts to ditch the job, he still somehow ended up in Karakura Town because of the captain commander. His office was broken into, and it turned out the captain commander took one of his favorite books. When he found the commander, he had opened a Senkaimon and tossed the book through it. Of course, Sairou jumped through for the book, and was forced into the living world.
Lucky for him, he had his favorite book to keep him company while he scouted for trouble. He didn't bother concealing his reiatsu, as he figured it wasn't needed. He wasn't on a stealth mission. He decided to stay put and read his book while scoping out for enemies. He took note of a Vizard not too far away.
He wasn't the most fond of Vizards, but they weren't the soul society's enemies at this time, so he just put the info at the back of his head.

Kami would feel a shinigami presence appear and be curious as to what the soul society is doing in the living world even when he feels no hollow or arrancar presence. He wanted to find out what the problem was but he was wary to ask considering he knew vizards and shinigami's aren't the best of friends.
He'd walk down a deserted alley and shunpo to the signature of shinigami reiatsu. When he'd reach it he'd see Sairou. He'd had a hunch that it was Sairou before he even saw him considering he felt a tint of difference in the reiatsu from other shinigami's.
He'd look at Sairou and see he was reading a book. "Yo. Sairou. What brings you here?" He'd watch Sairou closely wary as to if he was going to attack or be calm and civil. For as long as Kami had known Sairou he'd always enjoyed sparring with him considering they both had electric type zanpaktou's.

Sairou turned kept his face to his book, but calmly closed the book when the Vizard drew near. He could tell who it was by the voice. Kamidora Masuta, an old comrade before he became a Vizard and was kicked out of Soul Society. The captain wasn't too fond of the guy while he was in Soul Society, but Sairou wasn't very fond of many people.
He put his book up and rested a hand on his zanpakutou's handle. "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" he said, keeping a calm demeanor. "Last I remember you destroyed almost half of the Seireitei and were sentenced to death. I wasn't aware you escaped." he said with a small smile. He wasn't going to attack, since he didn't have orders to apprehend any Vizards, but he had no clue how much control Kami had over his inner hollow, so he was just being careful.

Kami would see Sairou reach to his zanpaktou and glare. "A lot of things are supposed to be but aren't. Now then I'm only here to see what you were doing here for. So Sairou why don't you tell me, why are you here?" He'd remember when he went crazy and did what he did.
He'd hold his hands open should Sairou try anything he could quickly reach back and snag a hold of his zanpaktou and guard. He didn't exactly want to fight but he also didn't feel like dying today.

"The recent Hollow and Arrancar activity. Two Arrancar appeared here not too long ago, and I was sent to check out the town to see if anything else suspicious was going on." Sairou said, keeping his gaze on the horizon. He didn't have time to engage in a full conversation, so he kept away from eye contact to focus on pin pointing the reiatsu of the spiritual beings in the city.
"Ah. I'm just wondering, but you haven't had any psychotic breakdowns since the incident at Soul Society have you?" he asked, with a small smirk on his face. He wasn't there personally that day due to paperwork, and from what he heard, it was quite an event.

Kami would glare at Sairou as he'd be standing in front of him. He wasn't to happy at Sairou's unkind remark. "It's not very nice to talk bad about something someone had no control over." Kami would grin as he though of a good reply. "I mean I had no control over something like that unlike some who turn tail and run at the first site of danger."
Kami would stick his hands in his pockets as he had the feeling of victory in him. He'd lightly nudge a tuft of grass with his foot. He wanted to see if Sairou's abilities had matured any since he had to take his unfortunate and uncontrollable leave. He kind of hated leaving but like the freedom he had now, not having to take orders, no captain's meetings, and no Sairou.

"Oh? I suppose you're talking about me?" Sairou asked, with a small laugh. "Sorry to hear that you think that, but foolishly charging into battle isn't my thing. And I'd prefer living to serve the Soul Society another day, then becoming food for a Hollow." he said with a smile.
"I didn't come here for Vizards, but if you insist on attempting to provoke me, then I guess I'll have to fight you. Of course, I'll let you have the first move if you decide you want to fight." he said, turning to face Kami with a sly smile.

Kami would laugh. "Wow I'm surprised captain commander still keeps you around." He'd laugh as he thought of how Stele would keep someone as cowardly as Sairou around. How he'd run from a hollow that could possibly destroy the soul society.
Kami grinned at his words and debated how to go about this. "You know as good as I do I'm not usually one to strike first but I think I can make you into a exception." He knew a frontal assault would be futile. He'd slide his zanpaktou out it's sleeve and slides the katana in his left side belt loop and flicks his thumb making a slight bit of the blade come out. He'd wrap his hand around the handle and pretend to make a move to slash at him hoping to get a reaction.

"Ha ha. Well, I guess I'm just that good of a Shinigami." Sairou said, with a chuckle. Sairou watched as Kami lunged at him, faking an attack. He began to take a defensive stance, until he noticed it was a feint. The Shinigami relaxed, as Kami landed, smirking. "Looks like you really aren't into striking first. Scared of how the battle will end?" He asked with a small laugh, keeping an eye out for a another attack.

Kaim would sort of glare at Sairou. "Well I guess if Stele lost you he'd be a little upset. Oh well that doesn't really matter much to me." He'd begin to draw his sword a little as the silvery blade would show itself from inside it's dark pitch black sheath. He'd completely draw it and look at the blade it's shiny appearance a little more shiny today, possibly from the expected battle.
Kami would look at Sairou with a straight emotionless face. "Yea I'm not one to strike first unless I'm really itching to get my point across to someone I find particularly unpleasing, and as for the way this battle will end I think your the one who should be scared." Kami would quickly whip his blade up into the air straight at Sairou knowing that he'd probably dodge it yet he still wanted to test his speed and see how well he'd gotten since the last time they'd met.

"I suppose it doesn't." Sairou smiled, responding to his statement about the Captain Commander. He watched carefully as Kami drew his sword, waiting for the attack. As the Vizard slashed upward at him, Sairou sidestepped to his left, and at the same time turning it into a spinning round-kick aimed at Kami's side. "Ha ha. I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself, Vizard." the Shinigami said as his foot quickly headed towards Kami.

Kami would sigh knowing that sending the first attack was a bad idea. "You know I kind of anticipated you to dodge it. I did inform you of the attack after all." He'd quickly pull his zanpaktou back to himself and hold it up and parallel with his body's side. The shiny silvery coloration of his zanpaktou would gleam next to his body as it sort of clashed with his shirt's color of gray.
If the block worked correctly Kami would not only succeed in protecting himself but he'd also land a blow on Sairou. That is if Sairou didn't stop his leg which would probably be a slight bit difficult considering the momentum he'd gained from torquing his body into a spin kick.

Sairou smirked when Kami moved his sword to block. Knowing he couldn't simply stop the kick, he decided to use his high agility and flexibility to his advantage. He quickly tucked his leg into his body to avoid the blade, and set up for a hook kick. He immediately sent the hook kick to Kami's side. As he kicked, he torqued his upper body, allowing his back leg to follow through with it's own kick, aimed at Kami's head. To increase his momentum, he also had his hands tucked close to his body.
If the Vizard tried to block with the sharp edge of his sword, Sairou would reach into the folds of clothing and throw his decently sized book at the Vizard's face.

Kami would notice no sound of blood being spilt and he'd scoff in his mind at it. He'd have felt no resistance of flesh, smelled no fragrance of blood, nor hear the faint pitter patter of blood dripping faintly on the ground. He usually wasn't so blood thristy and hell bent on fighting but he wanted to prove once and for all that he was nothing to be toyed with.
As Kami would notice that Sairou would be counterattacking his mind would race with thoughts of what to do. Everything flashed by in his mind in a split second. He had thought's of multiple counter's the most prominent was to release his shikai and show Sairou how powerful he was compared to him. But just as his lips began to quiver at the thought of saying the words of release, his mind snapped with a new thought. He saw a bulge in the breast pocket area of Sairou's Shihakshou and remembered the book. He'd also remember how dirty Sairou fought and had a good hunch that he'd do something with the book whether throw it in the air as a distraction or throw pages out to throw him off.
Kami noticed he was being attacked in two directions and decided his idea would probably work. He'd raise his zanpaktou in front of his face with the sharp edge facing straight for Sairou's incoming kick. Kami would also reach his free hand over to the incoming foot and whisper under his breath. "Hadou number 33 Sokatsui." This battle was beginning to shape up nicely and Kami was ready to see what Sairou was going to do considering he had a Sokatsui flying at one foot and his other foot was flying directly for a finely honed and sharpened zanpaktou blade.
